Rhein can still make the World Bowl. They have to win and Frankfurt has to lose. Right now Frankfurt is down 13-0 to Berlin.

For those that are interested, Berlin is handily beating Frankfurt Galaxy, 13-0, going into the 2nd quarter. If the Galaxy lose today and Rhein Fire win their game, then the Fire will face Amsterdam in the World Bowl next week.

That's the scenario that I'm hoping for because I really want to see Henson lead this team in the championship game. He'll be under tremendous pressure to do so considering that the Admirals owned the Fire during the regular season.

What he said.

I second this request. The Fire got off to a great start with the first play of the game being a handoff to Jackson for an 80 yard touchdown.

Fire lead Cologne, 7-0

It would be good to see Henson under some kind of pressure of that sort. Could be informative.

Actually, I'd like to watch Henson throw. This is the first opportunity I have had to watch a game live. Leading them won't make that happen.

Another interesting note here is that I believe that this is Henson's first time to ever play in a football game after suffering a serious injury. This will be a great chance to see how he maintains his poise in the pocket when he comes under pressure.

Is it on now ? What channel again on DirectTV ?

212 NFL Network.

And unfortunately Baldinger is one of the announcers...He's one of those guys who should really stick to game analysis.

I do as well but it's more important that the Fire win today (regardless how they score) so we can get a chance to watch Henson lead this team in the World Bowl next week against Amsterdam. This will most definitely further his development as the leader of this team if they can earn a berth in the World Bowl.

Ahh, the receivers still can't catch.

And Starling lost his balance bumping into the cornerback. Not good.

Yep, that was a beautiful throw to Halterman. A pity that he couldn't hang on to it (yet again) which would have put the Fire close to the red zone of Cologne.

That's the second time a receiver drops the ball on a third down pass. It was a perfect pass.

It looks like the "Timmuh" experiment is over, at least for now anyway. Chang was really terrible that last game when Henson was hurt. I realize that these NFL teams expect the players that they've allocated to get some playing time but when you're in a "must win" game and fighting for your playoff lives, play the best ones on your roster.

Henson has done nothing and has looked blah except for 2 nice passes, nothing new. Time to watch the subway series.
