***Official MEGA HOT Dez thread merge***

Didn't Michael Irvin used to scream at everyone within earshot that he was open and to get him the ball? This is a lot of wasted energy on the media and fans' part. If Dallas had a few more players that had as much passion as Dez Bryant, the NFC East wouldn't still be up for grabs.

Yea, he did. The difference is that team won games. This team doesn't. It has a different perception. When tom Brady goes off on his squad its great leadership and passion. If Dez does it its childish.

I love Dez's passion but today definitely went beyond passion. Still, it's not like that's the reason we lost. It's also not like his outbursts left him mentally frustrated to where he was running wrong routes and, in effect, losing us the game.

Sideline outbursts haven't been a problem with him so I'm not that concerned. Much more worried about the lack of a spine the team has as a whole in clutch moments.

You have lost your ball in the weeds. Dez wasn't yelling about anything but this: gimme the ball. He wasn't trying to fire up his teammates. He wasn't yelling braveheart quotes. It was all about Dez wanting the rock.

You are utterly mistaking fire and leadership with selfishness and quit.

After yelling and pouting...Dez quit on us. And he's your hero?

what in the hell are you talking about? dez didn't quit. he's trying to wonder why the hell this offense can't do anything with all of these turnovers.

Lol @ the "fans" who keep beating this Dez is a "me" player when he clearly is not. Not a single person has ever said that about Dez it's not in his character. He shouldn't have blown up but it had nothing to do with being a "me" player and the ones banging on that point are just being ridiculous.

Why are you trying to spew this out as fact? You don't know more than anyone else. This is not that big of a deal.

Look in the mirror before you tell another man to act like a man when you have no idea what's going on. I suggest you watch his post game interview.

Anyone else think Dez should have shut up this week and play the game?
Dez 72 yards CJ 329. One show class one show ***

Agreed. Dez caught a 50 yard touchdown after the outburst that should have put the game away. Except the Cowboys defense looked like a Division 2 college unit today.

Yep. And for all the drooling the announcers did over Johnson's big day, his 300 yards were "this" close to meaning nothing because of his fumble and drop-turned-INT.

But at least Johnson was fumbling with class.

This really isn't that hard to figure out once you accept the world is usually grey and not black and white.

Dez was passionately frustrated, which is admirable and desirable, and throwing a sideline tantrum, which isn't.

Some fans were "personally" offended by Dez's antics because it made "them" uncomfortable. No poster should ever gauge Witten as anything close to intelligent, "meathead" to a tee. Witten probably believes that structure and organization are the foundations to winning, unfortunately his eager loyalty has been trusted with no balls Garrett...both are passionate, just one is able to question authority when it is obviously lacking.

I'm reading that the last fight was over Dez not wanting to huddle with the offense on the sideline because the game was over. Witten got in face and pointed out that there was 12 seconds left. Dez just got angry and refused because it was over. The video pretty much confirms this. Dez quit...what a chump if true.

All you have to do is look at the faces of all his teammates and coaches when he rants on the sidelines. All they do is cringe and look away. And then they conveniently walk away. He's not being an inspiring leader. Furthest thing from the truth. His selfishness is an embarrassment.

I can't believe people are going against Dez. What is it going to take for you guys to realize the way our older players have handled leadership is taking us nowhere fast? It is uncanny how the current regime finds a way to be average and never show the fire to change it.

sorry, but this is not "Dez being all about winning", this is more about Dez whining like a child like he used to. He needs to grow up and hold it together. In practice is the time to bring this crap up. To me, he seems to struggle with getting open.

If he loses some face because Megatron showed him up, then good... hope it hurts Dez. grow up

If you boys want to make a civil war and side with Dez...against Witten, Ware, Romo and everyone else on the team. I can only feel pity for you. Such fans deserve a losing team.

Just like your posting on this board is an embarrassment. Please I saw Orton nodding his head and saying you're right. You just cherry pick things because it pushes your agenda.

The OT on Fox just beat up on Dez.

Of course they did. The media is gonna try to brand him as the next T.O. He plays for the cowboys so that's an even better story line. It's funny but Dez has handled himself well explaining his actions in post game comments but they'll pay no attention to that, they'll just focus on what they think he was saying on the sidelines all week. It's an easier and more controversial storyline

Proof that Dez quit. Romo tells him let's go and so does Witten. Dez cries it's over and throw his tantrum. I have zero respect now
