If so, why did MC KAos give credence to the model being hot? She doesn't exist. I hadn't seen any other comments and thought I would throw something out there that would explain this further lest people keep bringing it up. Maybe some have seen it, but others haven't. For instance, her MySpaace pictures were actually other models, she never appears in public, and her whole modeling career is a sham - it never happened, it doesn't exist. Just a very strange situation and an easy court win for Parker once that is final.

i could care less about "stories" like this, pure and simple.

and this one has been dissected ad nauseum on spurs boards.

like i said....back to basketball.....

This isn't a Spurs board. And I was posting this to put to bed (pardon the pun) any further rumors surrounding it, being that it only came out in the last few weeks.

Good grief, Philly. If you don't like it, you don't have to talk about it. Not everyone on this Cowboys board follows the Spurs. ;)

I just meant that when you posted that we ALL thought she was some hot model. Actually she just stole pictures from other models and put them on her MySpaace account like it was her. She has an agent, but if you call her agent you can easily tell it's the model pretending to be an agent. She never appears in public because it would all then be exposed. She's a total fake and it's nuts that no one figured this out before.

spurs win!

timmy's knee knock didn't look serious, thankfully.

it was nice to see the big 3 back in action, if not 100% healthy.

Spurs are playing Detroit next. For guys like Nors who profess there is less discrepancy between the two conferences, this game will help answer that since Detroit is the second best team in the east and currently the #1 ranked team on Marc Stein's power poll

Golden State 130, San Antonio 121, OT

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Even after Stephen Jackson scored 12 points in overtime with one clutch shot after another, the Warriors swingman knew who really carried Golden State to a stirring win over the defending NBA champions.

"I know if I had a choice between myself and Baron, I'd put the ball in Baron's hands," Jackson said.

Over and over, the Warriors did just that against the San Antonio Spurs -- and the remarkable Baron Davis came through again.

Davis had 34 points and 14 assists while creating offense on nearly every possession in the final 10 minutes of Golden State's 130-121 victory Monday night.

The style clash between freeflowing Golden State and orderly San Antonio was entertaining throughout, but Davis put on the best show. He had 12 points in the fourth quarter during a stunning series of baskets before the Spurs erased a six-point deficit in the final 47 seconds, forcing overtime on Tony Parker's 3-pointer with 6.3 seconds left.

Davis simply altered his game, getting three assists and a key basket in overtime as the Warriors pulled away. All told, Davis was responsible for 28 points with baskets and assists in the final 5 minutes of regulation and OT.

"I thought our spirits were really down, but somehow we got it back together," coach Don Nelson said. "And I think we can thank Baron for this one."

Jackson, who rallied from a terrible start to finish with 29 points, hit two free throws and two 3-pointers on passes from Davis in a 56-second span of overtime. Davis added a silky pullback jumper with 43 seconds to play, ensuring San Antonio's second loss at Golden State in four weeks.

Few January games carry more importance than this victory for the Warriors, who won the season series with the Spurs for the first time since 1996-97. They also avoided their first three-game losing streak since beginning the season 0-6.

"It was a much-needed victory to scratch that two-game streak we were on," Davis said of consecutive home losses to Denver and New Orleans. "We were consistent, and especially against the champs, we knew we were going to have to play like that. This is one of those victories that can kind of snap you out of it."

Tim Duncan, who didn't play in the Spurs' previous trip to Oakland on Dec. 11, had 32 points and 13 rebounds, while Parker finished with 31 points and eight assists. The Warriors' tenacity prevented Spurs coach Gregg Popovich from getting his 600th career victory.

"They're going to take some crazy shots," Duncan said. "On a night like tonight where those shots go down, they're a very dangerous club, and unfortunately for us, they went down at some inopportune times."

Monta Ellis and Kelenna Azubuike scored 16 points apiece for the Warriors, who blew a 14-point lead in the second half before Davis went to work against Bruce Bowen, the Spurs' defensive specialist.

Davis generated 12 points on four consecutive possessions during the final minutes of regulation with a 3-pointer, two consecutive three-point plays and an assist on Jackson's 3-pointer. Another 3-pointer by Davis put Golden State up 110-104 with 57 seconds left in regulation, but Duncan scored five straight points before Parker's tying shot.

Ime Udoka then stripped the ball from Davis on a drive, and Mickael Pietrus' 3-point attempt at the buzzer rattled out.

"I thought our effort was great, and in the end we got beat from the 3-point line," Popovich said. "They did a good job knocking down those shots, and hit a couple in overtime. ... We did a great job, and Golden State did a little bit better job. They earned it."

Manu Ginobili scored 20 points for San Antonio in his second game back from a five-game absence with a sprained finger, and Duncan looked solid one day after banging knees with Corey Maggette in the Spurs' victory over the Clippers on Sunday.

San Antonio opens a four-game homestand against Detroit on Thursday, and Popovich still is looking for his 600th career victory. He's seventh among active coaches -- and still 653 behind Nelson, Popovich's boss for two seasons during Nelson's first stint with the Warriors.

"It took me 10 years longer to get 600 wins. What's wrong with that guy?" Nelson cracked before the game.

Both Golden State and New Orleans have some very good teams this season. It should be interesting down the stretch.

Well, they're all yours. Dallas-San Antonio on the road is a tough back-to-back. I see them going 0 for 2 on this trip.

Detroit 90, San Antonio 85

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Rasheed Wallace had 23 points and 15 rebounds and the Detroit Pistons bounced back from a loss the previous night to beat the San Antonio Spurs 90-80 on Thursday.

Richard Hamilton scored 18 points for Detroit, and Tayshaun Prince added 17 to help the Pistons hand the Spurs their third home loss of the season and second in a row.

Tim Duncan had 24 points and 15 rebounds for San Antonio, and Tony Parker added 12 points as he struggled from the field, going 4-of-13.

Detroit snapped a two-game losing streak that followed an 11-game winning streak. The Pistons lost 102-86 in Dallas on Wednesday night.

The marquee matchup between the defending champion Spurs, currently second in the West, and the 2004 champion Pistons, second in the East, looked more like a dud for most of the night.

Not only were the Spurs having trouble creating offense, partly because they couldn't hold onto the ball and committed 15 turnovers, they weren't getting stops, either.

The Pistons had their way with San Antonio nearly every trip down the court. Whether cutting to the basket or hitting long jumpers and a couple of 3s, Detroit built its lead to as many as 20 points. The Pistons kept the lead for good after going ahead 16-15 with 3:30 left in the first quarter off of Hamilton's fast-break layup.

The Spurs were within nine with a quarter to play after closing in during the third, but Detroit built the lead back up to 14.

Lindsey Hunter's fast-break layup, before which he looked back to see that he was all alone and could slow it down on the way to the basket, gave Detroit a 78-64 lead with 6:08 to play.

Parker's 3-point play brought San Antonio within nine, and a free throw from Manu Ginobili as Antonio McDyess fouled out made it 82-74 with 2:30 to go.

But Chauncey Billups hit an easy, and key, layup off a pass from Hamilton to put Detroit up again by 10. Wallace hit another easy layup with 1:30 to go to give Detroit an 88-76 lead and put the game away. After that, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich took out most of his starters.

Detroit went on a 16-0 run over 3:30 to close the first quarter, and by the end of the period had scored twice as many points as the Spurs and were up 30-15.

The Pistons stayed ahead by the same margin by the end of the second as they held a commanding 54-39 halftime lead over the struggling Spurs, who scored consecutive baskets just once during the second quarter and were outrebounded 18-14 in the half.

By the time 2:41 was left on the clock in the third, the Spurs cut their deficit to single digits for the first time since late in the opening period after being down by as many as 20 earlier. Duncan further reduced the margin, to 63-56, with his dunk off a pass from Manu Ginobili.

Indeed it was Duncan, the only San Antonio in the double digits by the time three quarters were gone, who kept the Spurs alive. He had 10 points in the third.

By contrast, Detroit was leveling a balanced attack on the home team. Hamilton, Wallace and Prince combined for 46 points for Detroit heading into the fourth quarter, when Detroit started out with a 67-58 advantage.

Notes

Spurs G Brent Barry remained out with a torn muscle in his left calf. Popovich said Barry will be out another week at the most. ... The Spurs on Thursday signed G-F Jeremy Richardson. ... Popovich will have to wait at least until Saturday for his 600th career victory. ... Before the game, Detroit coach Flip Saunders said of Wallace, who was averaging 12.8 points heading into Thursday: "I don't think we can just judge him by what he's doing offensively as far as on whether he's ready to play. Because I think even when he hasn't been good offensively at times, he's always been there and done things from a defensive standpoint."

Looks like the Pistons had something to say about that. Great first quarter and rode it for the win.

Spurs quitely are down to fighting for a 4,5,6.7 seed. Four game cushion for last playoff spot still. I know its only mid January and they wait for rodeo and circus to start playing but there should be some concern in Spur nation creeping in......

You do realize that the current 10th seed in the West (Utah, 20-17, .541) would qualify as a 4th seed in the East right now? The 10th seed in the West would qualify for homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs in the East.

:lmao:
