Watched "The Thing About Pam" over weekend. The six series episodes were definetely interesting. Watching it tho confirmed to me that Renae Zelwegger is a great actor. I though she was good in the Judy Garland movie but she was equally great in this series. I know she has a habit of gaining weight for different parts and am not sure if she did for this one but she definetly played the part well.
She was also excellent in Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe.

I was really looking forward to Moon Knight, so far it's been OK, but not as good as I was hoping for. I can't help but feel that Netflix would have done a better job with the title, they did a great job with characters with a darker edge.

For me, Moon Knight has tracked as much as I expected so far. Oscar Isaac got the bit. I am certain he only agreed to play the character as long as he could showcase his acting prowess as the split-personality over the actual hero.

I respect Isaac very much but I am not surprised concerning MK. His role in X-Men: Apocalypse was played almost as "Shakespearean' as could have been expected in a comic book movie adaptation. Apocalypse should been played as a character so menacing it should have made the audience feel threatened. Do not know about others but I did not feel threatened. Heath Ledger's The Joker was truly menacing at times and he was simply a guy wearing a purple suit lol.

Apocalypse was almost a completely different character from the one in the comics. How did Isaac have the power to change him that much? Crap, I used to play a video game on Sega Genesis that had a better Apocalypse.

I'd never heard of Moon Knight before this series, and I'm glad, because it's disappointing enough as it is.

Finally watched episode four of Moon Knight. Just two episodes left in the season.
I embed the video to skip ahead to 9:40 where he explains why it went from Tomb Raider to LEGIⓍN...

That doesn't make it any better. It just comes off like they're stalling, until the main event in the final episode.

Currently watching White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch on Netflix.

Lol, crazy to look back and think this was a legit business strategy. I mean, it makes sense through a certain lense when it was sort of the acceptable zeitgeist.

Charlie does great videos, really in-depth. But not even his extensive explanations can make this one good.

Did anyone watch Nightflyers? Started off promising but 6 episodes in I am getting the feeling it is going off the rails.

I know what you mean about Martin, he really screwed the pooch with Game of Thrones. Did he ever finish the books? LOL. I was really afraid, given his appearance, he was not going to survive long enough to give us the conclusion to GoT, but then he did and I wish he didn't.

Queens gambit was great.
Well written and well acted.

It was awesome but they made one casting mistake. How did they ever think this guy would pass and the dangerous and cool guy is beyond me.
