Has anyone watched the 2nd season of The Old Man? It's getting horrible reviews. I really enjoyed the first season and loved series like the Terminal List.

So what's your take? I was really looking forward to it. :(
I was just talking to my brother about this, I didn’t start it yet and he’s done. Said it was so bad he’s sorry he wasted his time. I’ll still watch, but seems like the terrible reviews are warranted. Tulsa King he said was still good, so I’m pleased about that!

I just finished two seasons of "GyeongSeong Creature" on Netflix. It is a Korean horror series. I have seen some really good Korean horror shows. This one was a little sappy at times, a little corning at times. I didn't hate it. I didn't love it either. I would give it a 5.5 out of 10.

There is some interesting historical perspective in this show for those fascinated with Japanese - Korean history.

Don't Move - I watched this on Netflix last night and found it pretty entertaining overall! It has solid suspense. If you enjoy thrillers that keep you on edge, it’s worth checking out. Kelsey Asbille (most of you will know her as Monica from Yellowstone) stars in it, and she did an outstanding job acting in her role. You get thrown right into the story, so I never did feel a deep connection with her character (outside of just having compassion for a human), but her performance definitely elevates the tension. Great pick if you're in the mood for some suspense!

I haven't watched it, but funny story:

I was watching the last season of Fargo and after episode 3 Hulu auto-played the first episode of The Old Man. I didn't realize this and thought it was an episode of Fargo. So the whole rest of the season, I was like "when are they going to go back to the Jeff Bridges storyline". I was so confused.

Such a gorgeous woman, maybe I'll check that out.

Slow Horses. Apple TV. Pretty darn intense. A lot of great British actors with Gary Oldman leading the charge.

It’s the MI5 for rejects. The James Bonds who had drug addictions, gambling addictions or whatever else was a no go for MI5 clearance.
I love that show. I do like British spy thrillers and the cast does a great job, but Gary Oldham's character and performance alone makes it a must watch. Six episode seasons are too short, but at least they have been picked up for at least two more seasons.

Was never really into lawyer type shows like Law and Order.

However I gave Suits a try and enjoyed that one.

So was looking for another to see if I would like it.

Tried Lincoln Lawyer, just could not get into it. Might have been the lead actor but not sure.

Has anyone watched Your Honor with Brian Cranston?

Just finished the 3rd season of the Lincoln Lawyer. It was okay but feels like they could have condensed the 10 episodes down 2 or 3 and told the same story.
I just started it and it already feels like a repetition of previous season. I really liked season 1 and 2.

Is that the one where his son accidentally kills the son of a mobster? I started watching that but after about 4 episodes I felt like it was going off the rails. I get the premise but the story about a guy digging a hole for himself, deeper and deeper, was hard to watch and got a little ridiculous quickly. I know some people loved the show. I didn't.

The first season of Your Honor was really good. Branston carried the show and the storyline was interesting. Season two fell a bit flat for me and it felt like they struggled where to take the storyline. Pretty sure it was cancelled.

Investigation Alien on Netflix - It was a good watch. I enjoy this type of content. I stay open-minded and logical about it, and there are moments that make you roll your eyes, but also parts that genuinely make you pause and think. It's refreshing to watch something that stirs the imagination without feeling the need to provide all the answers. I've always respected George Knapp for his journalism, and while there’s nothing groundbreaking in this series, it’s still entertaining and showcases some intriguing phenomena.

If you enjoy this kind of subject matter, even if you're a skeptic, I’d recommend giving it a shot.

Finally watched the Queen's Gambit.

The acting, directing and script was good.

But I found it really slow and the only parts I really like was when they were actually playing Chess.

I watch very little TV besides Star Trek, but I did enjoy this series. There isn't many I watch the entire series (Dexter, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, etc) This was one. Though I made it through Breaking Bad until the final season. Actually that is true for Dexter too. lol.

The series I do watch? The David Attenborough narrated Earth / Animal life documentaries. I love those!
