You are condemningthe preferencees of a 2 year old boy? Is that really what you plan to pass of as a real argument? Sory guy, but that's pathetically weak.

As for Choice, we the discussion about his abilities has been hashed and rehashed, but what in the world it has to do with being an uncle who is willing to do something for his nephew is beyond me.

I suppose you tell your nephews they are worthless pansies for liking Barney? What a great guy!

don't have any nephews - don't even have any nieces - lol

and he is two years old

how does a 2 year old know enuf about football to know who Vick is

doubtful - LMAO

here let me read you a bedtime story about Mike Vick the Dog Killer

Too Funny - THE END

:laugh2:

It's funny how one week everyone wants and knew Choice should be the starting RB after his 100 yard game vs the Colts and now a lot of em' want him cut because he got an autograph for a relative. :laugh2:

I'm sorry...did Romo bring along Eli Manning on the trip?

So because they play for different teams they couldn't be friends?

Who cares about Choice. All we here is how good he is but I don't see it. He is not the Cowboys Franchise back. Felix is the change of pace back 3rd down back. Please draft Mark Ingram. .

exactly! because asking for an autograph after a game makes such a huge impact on the outcome of that game and the person's athletic skills...

He knows Vick because watching football is standard in his household and he sees the exciting guy running around on Sunday, and hears the announcers talk about how good he is. Those are the kinds of things 2 year olds judge from.

He also likes Barney because he's big an purrple and sings cute songs. Would it be wrong for Uncle Tashard to buy him Barney videos?

I'm no Michael Vick fan either, but the difference between us on this is you are projecting your feelings about Vick on others and requiring that the actions of others be the same as what your actions would be.

The bottom line is if Choice has a different viewpoint than you and is trying to do something nice for his nephew, then what how in the heck is that a damnable offense?

Who in the world said anything about him being a franchise back, and what in the world does that have to do with the topic?

I don't see any fans calling for Choice to be cut because of that. Most say they wished he hadn't done that, myself included. There are places for these things to be done and immediately after a loss to a hated rival and on national TV is not one of them.

ESPN ran w/ that lil autograph of Vicks right after the game on SportsCenter. It was embarrassing to say the least.

I don't think what Choice did was all that bad, nor did I mind the hugs, handshakes, and smiles after the game. You hear way more about it when coaches/players DON'T shake hands and snub each other after a game. I think Choice is a sweet kid. He gave me one his gloves after the Viking playoff game -- it's a cool souvenir. He could have went into the locker room right away, but him and Sensabuagh came over and gave us a gift to go home with. God forbid they do something nice after the game.

What I didn't like was the lovefest game that was played last night. That was the nicest Eagles vs. Cowboys game I have ever seen. I look forward to divisional rival games because they keep things exciting no matter what is on the line - record, playoffs, etc. The intensity is what makes divisional rival games so exciting and we didn't have any of that last night.

There were tons of opposing butt slaps, helmet pats, Ratliff planting Vick into the ground and then patting his chest. ONE unsportsmanlike penalty in the fourth quarter (when was the last time there was one?), no fights, no ejections, etc. It was a nauseating butt kissing game all night long. WTH? Has hell officially frozen over? The Eagles and the Cowboys play NICE during the game. That never happens! It looked like a friendly game of football -- not a divisional rival game.

Apparently the concept of doing things out of love rather than pragmaticsim is lost on you. I'm guessing you bought your wife a new vacuum for your aniversary rather than flowers that would fade within a week.

Again, you are applying your standard to Choice, and deeming that all people must do as you would do. As for me, I have nothing but admiration for a guy who is willing to go out of the way for a young family member. What counts is the feeling and the consideration and the effort, not whether you would do the same thing or you think it's practical.

Because he's a fellow professional athlete, and a great player at that. A lot of fans claim the players don't care as much we do and none of them would have a problem with what Choice did.

And as for his IQ... Apparently he's smart enough to see that Choice made a very dumb move.

That's what it looked like to me... For his nephew or kid.

No biggie.

Yeah, but:
  1. Tashard Choice didn't invent nephews. They've been around a lot longer than the game of football but nobody else is out there running down opponents for autographs.
  2. He could have told the 2-year-old that Vick is a bad man because he did mean things to dogs on purpose. Pretty darn simple and something any two-year- old would get. If any two-year-old I cared about asked me to get him/her Vick's autograph that's exactly what I would have done.
Having said that, I don't think any worse of Choice as a player and not really as a person either. I like Choice. I just really, really, really don't like Vick.
