If someone doesn't want to read a TO thread, it's not that difficult to simply bypass that thread.

Juke, that is fine when there is one or two. But its getting ridiculous. We have had a good 50 threads about this one player on a forum dedicated to discussions about a team he isn't even on which exists on a website dedicated to a team that he is not nor will ever be on.

You made other forums on this website for talk about other NFL players and teams.

But this forum, designed to discuss Cowboys is awash with threads about him. It becomes increasingly difficult to sift through the noise to find threads about the team, and to be honest, we shouldn't have to sift through anything on this message board.

"Just skip it" doesn't work when it requires one to skip half the threads.

We extend lattitude when people want to discuss an upcoming opponent and therefore allow "non Cowboy" talk on the main forum because it is, in fact, our next opponent.

Can I infer from this comment that come next Tuesday, after the game is over, we will be deleting or moving any such "T.O. to Dallas" thread based on the reasoning you are permitting them now?

(Of course, I would vote for banning, tar and feathering, drawn and quartering, and drowning people in the sea of my burning contempt for those who post such things. But deleting and moving can do.)

Just looking at this awesome board and I noticed 7 of the first 10 threads have either something to do with T.O. or the Iggles in general.

Can't we just merge all these Iggle threads into one massive thread? Or better yet, let's just create another message board for all Iggle banter.

To me, this whole thing is BS. TO doesn't want to come back if he's not going to play.

Think about it. If your TO, what is the reason for practicing? Your getting paid either way so why do it? Drew Rosenhorsesass won't want him there either. Lets say Philly sticks him on the kickoff return/punt return team. TO gets hurt and what is the upside? TO gets hurt seriously and there screwed. All for what? No, this is Bovinian Scatoligy.

There will be a few more tremors before the body actually grows cold but for the most part, this thing is done IMO.

I agree I don't think he is coming back and I know the eagles are not interested in having him come back.

This is more correctly about making a preemptive move against the Eagles -- they may want to recover some of TO's signing bonus -- that would be the only way the Eagles could keep money past the 4 game suspension.

and you know the union is going to fight signing bonus give backs -- regardless of the player.

No...you can't infer that about a "TO to Dallas" thread....because it's still Cowboy related.

On the other hand...anything having to do with TO that is not Cowboy related, just as with any other player, should be posted in the NFL Zone.

Honestly, I don't understand what the big deal is. It's news right now...it'll vanish in a short period of time.

Is this any different that the QC vs Hutch threads that went on forever? The board was ultimatly battling over two guys who would eventually be out of the NFL. I found that MUCH more disturbing than a week's worth of TO threads.

Just thought I'd ask because so many star idolators seem interested in discussing a worthless slimebag instead of a team.

I thought this was cowboyszone.com; a website for the football team in Dallas.

The vast majority of the threads appear to be confused people who are fans of Madden/fantasy football/"superstars" as opposed to this team and feel it necessary to constantly discuss some scumbag who has never nor will ever be on this team.

Can we get back to discussing the team and leave the wet dreams of a bunch of kids out of it? If I wanted read that tripe, I'd go to tHuGZ.cOm or whatever crap these people read. At the very least, can we move all discussions of other players to the NFL forum instead of it cluttering here since this guy has nothing to do with the Cowboys?

Please. I, for one, would be greatly appreciative with this change.

Guess what??? You have the option to read the threads you want to read. If you don't like the subject then I suggest you don't open it!!!!!

Oh, and by the way, I have NEVER played Madden. So, I'm not one of the confused ones you referred to! Move along and read something else!

My suggestion would be to go to another board, turn on ESPN, listen to talk radio....... or shut up and move on.....

Keyshawn was sent home with pay. The Eagles are trying to send T.O. without pay for four weeks and are paying him his weekly paycheck afterwards even though he is inactive. T.O.'s money is guaranteed (except for four games due to suspension) whether the Eagles cut him or make him inactive.

Bring back T.O. Let him practice. Let him suit up for games and just don't play him.

There is precedent to pay a player to stay home. The Eagles don't have to change their minds just because Upshaw asks them.

Why would you go through the trouble of having TO around and being a distraction and then throwing out the only benefit of his presence, which is his performance on the field?
