Eagles can simply point to the TB situation with Keyshawn.

However key was not suspended for four games. That is the important piece of information. What they are saying is it is a double penalty. Being suspended and being made inactive.

I don't think that TO wants to get cut right now anyways that means the waiver wire and that means the worst teams get first shot at him.

Vaid point, I will say the NFLPA could make them being TO back but they can't make them play him. At this point I think it is highly unlikely T.O. will ever play a down with Philly

To me, this whole thing is BS. TO doesn't want to come back if he's not going to play.

Think about it. If your TO, what is the reason for practicing? Your getting paid either way so why do it? Drew Rosenhorsesass won't want him there either. Lets say Philly sticks him on the kickoff return/punt return team. TO gets hurt and what is the upside? TO gets hurt seriously and there screwed. All for what? No, this is Bovinian Scatoligy.

There will be a few more tremors before the body actually grows cold but for the most part, this thing is done IMO.

I can't believe a person who can't stand someone( TO) yet in almost every thread associated with him you have voiced your opinion. You have been screaming it from the roof tops.

You remind me of one of the characters in the movie "12 Angry Men". The one who says thats kids don't appreciate anything and wanted to condemn the "guilty" kid.

Mr. Upshaw is the head of the players union, his job is to make sure that players get a fair treatment from the owners(the guys with the money and power) but I know You think players get paid to much more than us common folk. Yet if one of the owners woke up with TO money he would probably not like that very much. If you think TO makes money trust me when I tell you its a small portion of what influence, power, and money an owner has yet fans always complain about what the player makes.

Thats called institutionalized thinking.

Actually, I have posted in 2 threads. I'd hardly call that shouting from the rooftops considering that there have been literally dozens of threads about him recently. I also find it interesting that you 'know' how I feel about player salaries. I have never begrudged any player for what he earns, and I'm sure if you felt compelled you could do some searches of the archives and find that out. I think you were just looking for an excuse to go off on your tangent about institutionalized thinking, maybe you just learned about it and felt compelled to show off - who knows?

you folks make me laugh. this is the union's job. they represent the players and get a cut of player salaries to do so.

any action a team takes against a player -- any action involving that player not getting their salary -- is subject to the grievance process.

the union is not taking TOs side so much as they are making this action subject to a hearing with the league office. the Eagles decided to suspend TO -- the union grieves and the hearing decides whether the Eagles' actions are justified.

Just thought I'd ask because so many star idolators seem interested in discussing a worthless slimebag instead of a team.

I thought this was cowboyszone.com; a website for the football team in Dallas.

The vast majority of the threads appear to be confused people who are fans of Madden/fantasy football/"superstars" as opposed to this team and feel it necessary to constantly discuss some scumbag who has never nor will ever be on this team.

Can we get back to discussing the team and leave the wet dreams of a bunch of kids out of it? If I wanted read that tripe, I'd go to tHuGZ.cOm or whatever crap these people read. At the very least, can we move all discussions of other players to the NFL forum instead of it cluttering here since this guy has nothing to do with the Cowboys?

Please. I, for one, would be greatly appreciative with this change.

Oh I'll give you some smack alright, when I'm ready to. Before the game for sure.

PT is alright with me, just a little bit odd. He's told me that he thinks I'm odd too, so I think we're OK.

We extend lattitude when people want to discuss an upcoming opponent and therefore allow "non Cowboy" talk on the main forum because it is, in fact, our next opponent.

I'd suggest next time, if you don't like the threads, don't read them. It's not that difficult. :D

I could be wrong, but as a vested veteran I think that he is not subject to waivers. I think he would become a free agent and could sign with any team.

Frankly, I hate TO so much I need at least another two days of venting to get it all out of my system.

By Friday it will be time to turn attention to the rest of the Eagles, like that smug head coach who needs that self-satisfied smirk wiped off his face for the rest of the season.

Chris Mortenson mentioned that topic on the radio the other day. That is how it works before the trade dead line. After the trade dead line, any player has to go through waivers wether they are a vested veteran or not.

On the nosey!

It's kinda silly.

Ya know, if I walk past a hammer, I don't pick it up, whack myself over the head with it and them blame it on the hammer.

If someone doesn't want to read a TO thread, it's not that difficult to simply bypass that thread.
