I'm guessing either Denver or the Texans. I think the Chiefs would probably be the best spot for him, though.

I don't think the Texans can afford him cap wise, being on the hook for Osweiler's massive contract.

Yeah Derek Carr looks like a franchise QB.
He is a franchise QB. I really haven't read up on the break or rehab. If he isn't ready I'm sure the Raiders don't want a wasted season with that good roster. If Carr is ready then of course they roll with him.

Only if we release him. Elway has already said he isn't trading for him.
why would he tell the media he wants to trade for romo? That just raises the price. Maybe deep down he really doesnt want romo, but either way he's going to downplay that publicly.

After this latest playoff letdown, Andy Reid has to be looking at their QB situation and wonder if they need to upgrade Alex Smith to get to the next level. I want to say they don't owe him any more guaranteed money too. To me this makes the most sense for both Romo and KC.

I just hope it's to the highest bidder. No way I just release him or send him for a discount to the team of romos choosing.

There aren't all that many great landing spots with mutual interest from what I can tell.

If the Texans don't believe in Osweiller, I'd love to see Romo get a shot with that Houston team. Not sure they are there yet, and they have a big financial commitment to Osweiller.

Miami would be formidable too with Romo. But Tannehill turned it around later in the year. I think they still like him enough.

I really think Denver likes the two young guys and since Romo almost surely wants a 2 year deal, they might consider that a progress stopper.

Not sure what Palmer's plans are in Arizona. Their line is a bit weak though and the WRs are thin if Fitz hangs 'em up.

I'd think a good line is key. And since he hasn't played on a team with a real defense in about 7-8 years, I bet that's way up there too.

If i'm Romo, I play for the Vets minimum on a team that has an elite defense..Why did Dak lose yesterday? Defense right? Go to a team that has an elite defense and Romo has a better chance than Dak next year.
you guys seem to think Romo only wants money but at this point, legacy is more important to him IMO. One ring gets him into the hall of fame. He has already made his moey and will probably get a TV gig after he retires... Romo, my man, play for the vet min on a contending team and get yourself that ring..

Good luck with that pimpster
Dallas has a long relationship with Romo. He and they will try to find something that benefits both parties.

I agree has to be Denver or Houston. I still wonder what his value may be in a trade. If your team was a QB away from being a contender what would you give up for a QB that when healthy is elite, but with maybe a couple years left? Hard to put a price on it, but in a league where you arent anything without a QB I would say a 2nd round pick.

KC or Miami. Texans if they can manipulate the cap, I don't know their cap details.

I don't think Denver, not sure why, just a feeling.
