I wouldn't worry about drafting a rookie either unless you're drafting a guard. I see 2 or 3 guards in this draft that will completely dominate in the league.

And a few of them you can pick up in rounds 2 on down. We don't need a stud RT, we need to pick up a solid RT in FA, and see what these other youngsters can do.

I know that Petitti struggled this year, but I'm not gonna kill the kid for not being able to maul some of the best DEs in the league as a 7th round rookie RT. The scenario I'd like to see is for the boys to pickup a serviceable OT in FA that Petitti could learn from for a year or maybe two. Then he would be ready to be an asset to the team, IMO.

This is what I get for debating issues with a kid who is in his sophmore year of high school

All season I was watching Ray Brown play for the skinz and he is old as dirt. But he is the exception to the rule that makes us all crazy with hope that our old fuds can go another year.
