Twitter: Ogbonnia playing very well so far

Is he on a one year deal? Could make KC expendable after this year
That is possible. Clark is a better pass rusher than Ogbonnia is, able to collapse the pocket some. If Overton develops as a pass rusher, I could see Dallas keeping Ogbonnia over Clark to play NT in the 3-4 sets. It will cost us $23.7 million to keep Clark without an extension and $14.8 million to cut him, so I could see it, but again, I think whether we give him an extension depends more on Overton's development than Ogbonnia's play. We've got to have three quality interior DL in this scheme.

Ogbonnia plays 5T here. Playing there in this systems has been the best fit so far in his career so they probably shouldn't move him. He can and has played NT. If we do utilize him there, I think its best to do it just to use different looks. If we replace Clark, its better to draft someone like Will Echoles or Amauri Washington

With Overton coming along and Bullard being solid when he’s been on the field we have the structure to keep improving as a DL. Just need to get edge pressure and we should be ok.

I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised at how well Ogbonnia plays.

Clark is a good player, but just really isn't a NT. I have no idea how we're not better w/ Ogboner in the middle sided by Clark and Q.

Only 26. Definitely deserves a second contract with Dallas.
I believe he will get it here. We've actually been good against the run all year. Henry got his tds but he's a freak. We actually held him in check lol. Hard to do. Our lack of pass rush is because we are running a new system and have guys thinking too much. But I think we are getting our sea legs finally. We saw a glimpse of it against Houston. Gary looked like he's just playing on pure football instincts. That's what we need.

No he doesn't idk why you keep repeating this.

All of the DTs get moved around because they, essentially, are shifting the A-gap based on the offensive strength. He'll have some reps as a 5T, but he's still just eating blockers.

With a consistent pass rush this would finally be a decent defense. Note I said decent, not great.

I haven't delved into this, but that's what I was thinking.

Cowboys traded away Osa for a third round pick that was used on Barham who looks to be a legit player. Osa was replaced with Ogbonnia who is playing well. Maybe Parker does know what he is doing.
They haven't replaced Osa, Ogbonnia basically plays a different position.

The pass defense is horrific, and there's really no question that Osa would be a better player in that context.

I don't think so. Q is playing where Osa would be playing, and he's better than Osa.

OTOH, maybe Osa's youth would make him more disruptive than Clark, but then you do lose some in run support.
