Geraldo: "With the 3-4 you can bring the pressure from multiple angles."
O'Reilly: "YOU WANT ANARCHY!!! ANARCHY!!! THIS IS MADNESS!@!!11!!!eleven!@!"

My guess is that Olbermann probably said he wanted to get back into sports...where else is he going to go? I bet that he ends up doing a special interest story and is not so much a co-host, but he will be labeled as much.Hostile;1458644 said:Costas doesn't need Olbermann to look good. Olbermann wouldn't need Costas either. Both are baseball guys and are highly intelligent.
Costas is a consumate professional studio host though. Perhaps the best ever. If Olbermann has a serious flaw it's that he wants to be the show. You don't do that to a Bob Costas. I think this move may backfire.
They are not bringing him in for his personal views...like ESPN did with Rush.Twyst;1458802 said:Seems really really risky for the network to me. He has become the face of ultraliberalism to a lot of people on the web now, and tons videos of his politically charged editorials are all over youtube. Just seems to me that when someone becomes that polarized, putting him on the air for sports coverage would possibly lose a lot of viewership.
In an effort to direct this thread even further off course, I CANNOT WAIT for that movie to come out on DVD. Pure unadulterated mindless action, cliches, and over-stylized art.superpunk;1458714 said:http://img367.*************/img367/1246/oreillyvi9copyxl8.gif

And don't give me that link to the Dead Political Zone.

I agree but I have a feeling Olbermann won't last, his schtick forbids manners. Nobody wants the male Rosie O'Donnell broadcasting from the booth or the pre-game set.bbgun;1458908 said:How come when Rush Limbaugh was going to have a "bit" piece on ABC's Monday Night Football, the whole country was about to implode? Now Olbermann is going to have the exact same position for NBC's Sunday Night Football. No bias in the media. Nah.

The male Rosie? Ouch, that's low, even for Olbermann.Aikbach;1458910 said:I agree but I have a feeling Olbermann won't last, his schtick forbids manners. Nobody wants the male Rosie O'Donnell broadcasting from the booth or the pre-game set.
