I agree. O'Reilly is over the top but that is part of his shtick. He makes for good TV. But Olbermann is just certifiable.
Without O'Reilly there is no Olbermann or Lou Dobbs.

They've all brought the United States just one notch lower on the ladder of human achievement.

You can't seriously agree with Olbermann on this?

No human alive with a soul or conscience would.

Bush is to blame for a great many things...But not for this guy killing these people.

I would like to see the whole clip though because I don't hear him ever say that Bush is to blame for the killings.

I hear him say that Bush is to blame for the letting the ban on the clips elapse.

And it's true.

If he ever actually says that Bush is to blame for the killings then I stand corrected.

I don't like the image that O'Reilly gives off in regards to mainstream conservatives, but I can relate to him as I am very, very blunt and say exactly what I think regardless of the audience.

Olbermann is just bland and boring. He's also a heartless golem, but we won't go there :D

It's the fact that no matter the situation, Olbermann finds someway to bash Bush in oen form or another. The man is obsessed and has a horribly obvious agenda.

To this day I still can't believe he wasnt fired for saying Bush and his administration knew about 9/11 and allowed it to happen so they could control people with fear.

Man, that is just pathetic. What a gutless waste of human tissue.
Unfortunately I have to pike on Olbermann here. I liked him a lot in the old days at ESPN. Since he left, his true colors are really easy for all to see.

Congress votes to renew the ban. Bush can only sign or veto. Congress didn't vote to renew.

Also, if you'd read the link, the clips used by the killer were not banned by the ban that recently lapsed. The killer would have had access to the clips regardless.

I don't think one needs to hear the whole show to understand the implication of the statement. No one can defend this clown.

And to prevent this thread, from being closed, which I fell is dangerously close to it, I will refrain from commenting on the rest of your statement which has no merit.

But that fact doesn't help in the Bush bashing.

I am surprised that it has taken so many turns, but given what happened yesterday I think some latitude is okay for this. Make no mistake though, I don't want it to get too political.

To me, this is about Olbermann doing football, but I can separate that from his politics. Some can't.

When an individual proves, time and again, to have little moral character, it is hard to respect him in any walk of life.

I think many are concerned that Olbermann won't be able to. Hopefully he can. Honestly I think he can, because his liberal thing is just schtick.

Beyond that I've never considered him very funny regardless of the topic. When he was on ESPN he was just...I dunno...kinda annoying. When he first started The Countdown, he wasn't very liberal. He was pretty even-handed and just tried to be funny. The problem? He wasn't. His ratings tanked. So he decided to pull an O'Reilly and come up with a schtick. It worked for O'Reilly, Lou Dobbs, and eventually Olbermann.

Limbaugh did when he had his gig. It's too easy to pigeonhole people though when they disagree with your views.
