You guys are arguing over fbs. In feb!

here is where I stand on that, Draft Owen Schmidt please.

oh and it is painfully obvious to me, with the signing of Zach thomas and the release of oliver hoyte it points to one and only one thing.

Bobby Carpenter is now a fullback.

ooops

bottomline: Hoyte isn't a great blocker and Deon took his job

I agree. I think Deon Anderson was coming into his own before going down with an injury. I feel very comfortable with Anderson at FB and frankly was never very impressed by Hoyte

lol, noone is saying Hoyte sucks, just you don't need 2 FBs, esp. a 1-dimensional blocker, who isn't that special
Then why is Ronnie Cruz on the roster?

By the way big props to Oliver Hoyte who did a great job at FB as a lead blocker. It will not show up in the stats but his play was outstanding.
FORLY?

SRSLY.

I think for a guy who was a converted LB to FB he did a decent job but seeing Anderson to me it was easy to see he is a true FB

He could then wear his college #42 and give Zach #54.

I like Deon so this is good news to me, wouldn't be surprised if we drafted Owen, but I have no problem at all with Deon as a starter. He's very much an H-Back which probably fits out scheme better than Owen would.

ah, the Jamar Martin syndrome

This is worse.

if I have to hear Schmitt Happens, Runaway Beer Truck, or The Face of Toughness one more time I am going to puke.

Hillis was clearly the better athlete at the combine. Faster, quicker and just as strong.

I like both guys but I think both will be there on day 2 as FB's tend not to be a hot commodity these days in the NFL.

Zach Thomas was gonna flinch every time they got near each other.

They hurt each other it seems.

That makes sense. Let's just draft the people with the best Combine times. We better re-sign Julius, because he had a better 40 than Barber.
