This is worse.

if I have to hear Schmitt Happens, Runaway Beer Truck, or The Face of Toughness one more time I am going to puke.

Hillis was clearly the better athlete at the combine. Faster, quicker and just as strong.

I hear 'ya

That makes sense. Let's just draft the people with the best Combine times. We better re-sign Julius, because he had a better 40 than Barber.

weren't you advocating Schmitt because he's a much better athlete than Deon? you're chock-full of inconsistencies and lies

that doesn't bode well for your quest to be the world's best Internet boarder

I personally don't mind the loss of Oliver. Don't hate him or anything but I do think Deon is a better FB and I think he showed a good bit of that last year before getting injuried. I think he's just as good, if not better, blocker than Hoyte and he's absolutely got better hands out of the backfield giving us another nice little option for Romo to check down to when needed.

I'm completely ok with this move.

Yes, he's a better athlete than Deon.

Hoyte could always be re-signed somewhere down the line if he is available and there is a need. I think he is more likely to be available than he is to be needed.

then you should have no problem w/ Fuzzy pointing out Hillis' athleticism
I didn't. I had a problem basing picking him over Schmitt based solely on Combine numbers. You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?

I don't think he's basing them solely on his combine times

Hillis does have a nice, college body of work too 'ya know?

Oh, I know. I like Hillis, too. I'd draft either of them in a heartbeat.

not suprised,I liked the way Anderson was coming on before he got injured, hopefully a year of offseason training and learning the offense will help him

Bob. its impossible to have a mature and worthwhile discussion with him unless you agree with everything he says.

Never argue with a fool. Someone watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Because we all know you're the bastion of rational debate. Just call everyone a liar. That seems to work.

cricket is a much better all around FB than Hoyte would ever be. no problem with the move but we do need a backup (not that cruz guy).

I see you went back to 2006, yes I had hope for him but the name of the game is consistantcy. Do you feel Hoyte is going to be missed?

Do you feel that "his play was outstanding" equates to "I was never very impressed with him"?

This is awesome (and I mean this).

We had a 420+post thread on Scmitt. A FB.

Now this thread is heading over 100 pages for cutting a FB.

(Not making fun of anyone, just noting that is amusing)

Not sure "awesome" is the word I would use.
