He had a 74% win rate which is bad. But he was also a rookie playing LT which is the hardest position on the line and switching around from tackle to guard. In over 700 snaps he gave up 6 sacks. He can be a solid LTTyler wasnt a good player in pass protection last year. Had some of the worst win rates at the tackle position in pass pro.
They drafted him to be a LT and that’s where he will play at some point. I’d rather having him there now getting better and drafted a LG. That’s not what the team wanted so he will be at guard till Tyrone is injured then he will move to LT because he’s better there than anyone else we would have when Tyrone gets injured
This means another camp of taking snaps at 2 positions and that’s not a good idea.
If you want him to be a tackle he needs to be a tackle, if you want him to be a guard he needs to be a guard. Young players need to perfect one position before moving them around
