Pro football is a multi-billion dollar industry, with access to some of the best legal minds in this country. If Goodell has direct access to these 'great' legal resources, he should constantly be receiving the best legal advice on all issues regarding player conduct, right..? So, if he's already receiving the best legal counsel available, what is he doing wrong?

Well, I've read this thread and others that are posted after Goodell has taken action against a particular player. I guess that I don't see how Goodell can be so wrong in the minds of some here after he suspends a player, etc. Surely, he's receiving the best legal advice available before he acts.

It's not about Goodell being right or wrong... not in this thread anyway. I've stated repeatedly that Goodell is acting within his ability under the CBA. Some of us simply think that he has too much power.
