Vick being indicted, in the light of all the other arrests that have been taking place, is casting a negative image on the league and it's players, that is why he's being suspended, and why it's well within Goodell's power to do so under the CBA

Normally I just hang up but when they call in the middle of a Cowboys game I admit I have gone off on them. :laugh2:

I like to do different things to telemarketers when they call...

1. If it's a lady, I'll ask them what they are wearing...in a sexy voice. They usually hang up right away...

2. If it's a guy, and he is selling, lets say, auto insurance, I'll tell them that is the job that I do? Then they usually say, OK...thanks, click!

3. Other times I'll tell them, yeah, I'm interested, tell me all about it! Then I'll just put down the phone and go outside and do whatever for about 10 minutes...come back, the phone is silent..

It's a blast! Try it, you'll like it!!



Oh, and if it's a lawyer, it's "yes sir, no sir" (just for my buddy peplaw and the rest of our nations protectors, huh, theogt)?

Pro football is a multi-billion dollar industry, with access to some of the best legal minds in this country. If Goodell has direct access to these 'great' legal resources, he should constantly be receiving the best legal advice on all issues regarding player conduct, right..? So, if he's already receiving the best legal counsel available, what is he doing wrong?
