A bit of hyperbole on my part, but the point remains. A policy that leaves no doubt as to what is going to happen, should draw less pressure from outside influences.stasheroo;1560782 said:Leave it to the lawyer to label those protesting against animal cruelty as 'crazies' while sticking up for the rights of the 'accused'.
And they wonder why they get the reputation that they do.
Here's why.
PETA mustered a whole 50 people to protest at NFL offices on Friday. And they got another 4 dozen at Falcons headquarters. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19869362/
So the pressure they've "exerted" through protests doesn't even seem like a blip on the radar. The most pressure, I'm sure has come through back channels. i.e. advertisers and sponsors who are worried about their bottom line also.
And I'd much rather have the reputation of standing up for the accused than protesting every time a dog is put on a leash.
