Disapointed with the win..

We are horrid and have no chance of running the table.. Winning tonight means nothing but worse draft position.

If you ask me, this was the most entertaining game of the season! I still think the season is over, but wow... What a game!

Actually it's playing out... Thus far... Where losing all 7 games in that streak MAY NOT actually come back to bite us in the butt.

Yeah but the boogeyman in GB looms likely slapping us back to reality.

Most likely.

But that won't lessen the win over a division rival.

At least not for me.

Anytime we have a chance to ruin the day of the Eagles, Commanders, or Giants (And of course their fans) that's a good thing for me.

Oh I agree. I'm loving today here in DC and seeing/hearing all the gloom and doom. I just hate the matchup next week but do believe it'll be a tight game.

Yeah I guess it depends on the Giants and Philly's division record. One will lose another game in the division because they play each other again and the Eagles play the Skins again as well. We need the Eagles to lose some more. They seem to be the fly in the ointment.

Would have been nice for the Patriots not to stink it up against Philly. Only disappointment of the weekend.

I wonder if the team that wins this division will even win seven games. This Division is about as bad as I have ever seen.

I'm not sure all four teams don't end up 6-10.

It's possible for sure, I just think one of them will get to 7 since each team has a division game left. One of these teams will win another game outside of the division. What a horrible year.

I really was indifferent last night. I do not believe for one minute this team can win the division. All this do was help the Eagles and hurt the Cowboys draft pick. That being said, it was nice to see the players and Cassel get the win and Witten reach his milestone in a meaningful game.

2 of the other teams are 2-2 so they could end up 4-2 also.?

Commanders are 2-2, if we end in tie, we will likely need to beat them to have a record worthy of tie. Meaning if we are one behind them going into the game, and we win, we will be 4-2, they will be 3-3. Otherwise, if they win (whether we are one behind OR tied with them going into that game), the tiebreaker doesn't matter.

Philly, also 2-2, play the Giants AND Commanders, so for the Commanders or Giants to be in the tie, one of them will have to and likely will beat Philly. Probably the Giants (who are 2-3). Yes, they could possibly be 4-2 at the end, but they have the same conf record as us (or will after losing to AZ), and they have the TOUGHEST last 4 games, so I think they will be our least concern. Their win against Patriots was EXTREMELY lucky on their part.

Conference record means more than division record when it comes down to tie breakers.

No it doesn't... Head to Head, then division record, then common games, THEN conference record.

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs
  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory.
  6. Strength of schedule.
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
  12. Coin toss

Yes but we would be doing it WITHOUT our top 5 in the NFL QB for most of the season (and top 5 receiver, who was finally back to game shape yesterday)... not so bad when you consider that... give the team its due and for Cassel's learning curve. The winning streak I predicted has begun
