Parsons is the ultimate sell high candidate.
+1......he is risky going forward and I'm not even talking about off-field issues. Its the position he plays and the amount money he is going to cost. My fear is we could have another Sean Lee on our hands but a contract 10x more expensive.

Keep Parson
Trade Lamb (receivers are easier to replace than elite pass rushers)
Let Dak walk ( QB pay scale has exceeded his value)
The fact “receivers are easier to replace” is why no team is going to trade significant draft capital for CeeDee Lamb.

Keep CeeDee and Micah. Let Dak go as a FA. Get a comp pick, since they do not sign any FA's to offset that.
If they get to the NFCCG or SB, then that changes things. If no playoffs or one and done, let him walk.

Draft a QB in the 1st round, unless they think Trey is a the guy, if he signs for a decent deal. Or with him for the 2025 season if they can get out of the contract, and draft a QB in 2026.
Draft a RB in the 2nd round in 2025.

So here is a question. If Dak goes as a FA. And you can't reach a deal with Lance. And there are no QB's that seem to be a franchise type QB in the draft.
Do you tag Lance, and take a chance he can be the real deal. Would be cheaper than Dak, and not risk a 1st round pick at that time.

That netted two firsts? What non-quarterback trades netted two firsts (net, not swapping firsts) in recent history. The fact that all 32 teams have their first round picks in the 2025 draft and only two teams don’t have their 2nds indicates the days of trading away draft capital are over. No team would trade more than a third for Parsons and even that may require Dallas package a sixth with him. Parsons has shortcomings that would make Dallas consider moving him, those shortcomings have not escaped other teams’ attention. Philly got a 2026 3rd round pick in 2026 from the Jets for Reddick, a productive and less expensive edge rusher than what Parson will demand. There will be no trading of Parsons, for anything.
The Dolphins got 2 first round picks for OL Laremy Tunsil from the Texans.
Rams gave the Jags 2 first round picks and more for Jalen Ramsey.
The Jets traded Jamal Adams to Seattle for 2 first round picks.
The Raiders traded Khalil Mack to the Bears for 2 first round picks.

Parsons would get 2 first round picks.

What do you think is going to be Parson's next contract? 30 million plus? You don't pay a player anywhere near that if he's worth a 3rd round pick. We're talking not even 10 million a year.

If you're going to let Dak walk, I'd trade Lamb. Let Lance play 2025 and we'll get a high pick in 2026. That's if they let Dak walk. The last thing we need is to be 9-8 or 8-9.

Come on Garbage time doesn’t count , if he willed the team to drive back and score even FGs in the 1st half like 14-6 , the game wouldn’t be out of hand .
It doesn’t count for those of you who hate him. He never gave up which can’t be said for the defense. The game wouldn’t have gotten out of hand had the defense made a few stops. Just holding them to a couple of field goals instead of TDs would’ve kept us in the game. Their offense put up 41 points and they could’ve scored a lot more had they not let up in the fourth quarter.

Of those three, Parsons is the rarest talent. So he'd be a priority for me, and that includes making sure the right coaching staff was in place to maximize his ability. Ceedee would be next, then Dak - with the latter being third simply because while I think he's a good player, we've seen his ceiling and the deal he'll command will never be justified by the results he delivers.

Those trades were four and five years ago. They do not happen anymore because high draft picks become more valuable as the salary cap increases. Unprecedented salaries for top players are such those high draft choices provide necessary cost control to be able to retain your stars and still field a team that can compete in the playoffs. Parsons will not be traded because he is more productive than anything the Cowboys could get for him in trade. Note—-if those teams in your four examples that gave up the draft capital had it to do over, with the possible exception of the Rams, they wouldn’t do it. No team is going to make stupid trades like that anymore.

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. I didn't want to call him a choker when the pressure is on. But you make a good point to support that case.
I haven’t said anything to suggest he’s a choker. You think he’s a choker and would be easily replaceable. According to you all we have to do is just draft a QB. Plus you want to trade CeeDee and leave us with nothing. Glad you don’t run the team.

How does head coach MM describe those type of yard /stat accumulations
......garbage time stats as he looked right at Dak
McCarthy better be glad for those yards and stats that led to more points or the game would’ve looked even more embarrassing. At least he had one player that didn’t quit in the game.

Life goes on geez you guys are in love with the fact that we can never lose Dak, for years we had bad QB play until Romo and Dak came along, eventually we will find another one sheesh
Some of you don’t seem to mind going years with bad QB play because you think we’re already getting bad QB play. Bad QB play will lead to missing the playoffs year after year and some of you seem to be in love with a thought of doing that.

C'mon man, dude had a thousand yard stare in the 1st quarter before he took one snap. He seemed relieved once the game was out of hand, 48-16.
Before he took his first snap we were already down 7-0. He knew before he ever stepped foot on the field we were going to have to put up 35+ to have any chance. Our defense folded as soon as the Packers scored on their first drive. The game was essentially over after that.

Micah cannot last a full season as is and the older he gets he will begin to break down and get injured. It's never been a better time to trade him for max value.
CD should have been traded in this WR heavy draft if a move were to be made.
Dak - Stuck with him unless he waives his no trade clause.
Right? Wouldn’t be shocked if Micah slows down quick and falls off a HOF trajectory. Longevity is hard in the NFL.

So what, at least we aren't tying up 30 million for one player at a position that there is an abundance of replacements at.

Not sure which one of the big three on this team would be traded if the FO decided to go that route. Any one of them would surely get more than one player or draft picks to our advantage, if one of them were destined to be traded, though. It's quite difficult to picture such a hard decision not being necessary, however, with the Cowboys' cap problem being what it is. I know the Dallas FO is upset that this may be the situation they face.

So, you're okay with a QB who quit in the 1st quarter.
Before even stepping on the field. Got it...wow!

He didn’t quit. Not wasting any more time with this.
A thousand yard stare while down 7-0 in the 1st quarter of a home playoff game before he ever stepped onto the field. Everyone saw it.
