Opinion: Cooper Rush is never giving the starting job back

Next several games the OC has to keep the plan to open the middle for him, those floaters to the sidelines are going to end up in our endzone. Rush is playing better than expected so lets hope he keeps it going.

I think the thing I like about Cooper is that he's not scared to take chances downfield,yes his arm is not the strongest but it was strong enough to slightly over throw lamb on that 40yd pass and he takes control of the huddle,it was just different with him playing,it wasn't stale like it is when daks playing and no,I'm not saying Cooper is the future but it was fun seeing someone else behind center, watching dak most times is pretty boring,jmo

Leadership issues? How so the guy was a gamer. He’d draw up plays in the dirt and coach everyone up.

It’s unlikely but possible. No one thought Dak had any chance of supplanting Romo either.

But for it to happen Rush will have to play at a higher level than he did last week. Right now he is just a bus driver.

I dont even think you believe this. ONLY way it even becomes a discussion is if we win 4 in a row with Rush. Dak is being paid 40 million... he aint staying on the bench. Romo was at the end, that is the only reason he didnt get his job back.

According to Cooper Rush's scouting report...his flaws will overcome his chance of success. Hes not worth another contract. Let him walk and draft someone on a rookie deal. Driving the bus is all Rush is capable of. So dont waste time with him driving the bus. Draft someone instead. Just throw guys to the wolves until you find a savant. Draft a guy that can go rookie to Brady in 2 years or cut his sorry behind. He aint worth paying.
