Geno Smith becoming a starter again 8 years after his last start and looking better than 7 year starter Dak?

They are the same QB. Neither has ever won a thing with great a great receiving core, put up monster numbers, but failed in the end. Sounds like the same person to me.

Romo could carry the team in big games. Dak has to be carried.

Teams had to gameplan big time for Romo. Dak requires no gameplanning by the opponent. He's as basic as it gets.

Ain’t happening! Lol We’ll likely use at least two QBs before Dak returns. Cooper Rush will get the first crack and he’ll be lucky to keep the job 3 to 4 games. The big detriment with him is his lack of mobility.

A talented roster can make up for a less then stellar QB. A less then stellar QB can't make up for a non-talented roster. Basic NFL football 101.

PS. This isn't the 1985 bears defense out there or the Raven's 2000 defense that carried each of those teams to Superbowls when their QB's were Blah. Unless we can hold these teams to less then 14 points a game we sure as hell ain't going to win much because the over on our offense for the rest of the year is 15 points.

I think people will be surprised that the drop off wont be as great as they imagined it will be. Some will be saying Rush is better than they originally thought, but the reality is that this will be due to their over estimation of Dak. Rush is a 3rd string QB. Dak isnt that much better.

I've actually never been Daks biggest fan and have said it many times over the past few years. I'm nothing like you. I don't **** on every thread and I root for the Cowboys to win the games on Sunday.

I call it how I see it.

Outside of Parsons, Martin, Diggs, and Anger this team on paper looked bad. Especially the offensive side of the ball. I called that out. Some badly didn’t want to believe it and went and got their hopes up anyways.

The ownership built a poor roster around a rather poor QB. That’s a receipt or disaster. So bad in fact that trash was threw at that QB for being so bad. Some are seeing the light on things and it’s better late than never.
