We were hating it? lol I like Dak and feel he gives this team the best chances nothing more. I have pulled for this team since Meredith was the QB. My loyalties have been and always will be the Cowboys. You on the other hand whine constantly about Dak, win or lose you bad mouth him. You throw out Rush as some means to prove a point? A QB you did not even want during the pre season. I like Dak and when his days are done and Cowboys bring in another QB I will pull for him as well.

I support Dak because he's the Cowboys QB, but i do not believe he is better than he is because he is the Cowboys QB. When Dak is no longer the Cowboys QB I will no longer care about how he plays. I feel you will root for him regardless.

Yes I post stats as do many around the NFL and you will not find anyone who covers the NFL who will say Rush gives us a better chance at winning. As for when Dak leaves and someone else takes the job I will pull for that guy. There are many players who have played in Dallas and went to other teams, I still like them but do not pull for their teams. I loved DeMarco Murry hated to see him leave but once he went to Philly I wished him nothing but the best personally yet was sure as hell not pulling for his team.

Really do not care what it looks like. I think Rush did a fine job, he avoided mistakes and defense was playing at their best. When I post 3rd down conversations or redzone numbers it is because these are critical stats for any offense it means you are moving the ball instead of punting, it means when you get down inside the 20 you are putting up TD. Sorry you don't get that, I forget that your intelligence about this game is very limited. I have said time and again Rush coming in playing well saved this season. Many backup QB around the league I don't think would have faired very well.

When Dak went down and Rush came in, I did not post a single tread about Dak since he was not playing in the game. Once Dak returned and whinny fans like you were upset about it then I posted and did not even post any stats until Dak went out and was moving this team and scoring points. No I didn't bash him, I gave him credit. I was thrilled he was able to come in and hold the fort down. You must be confusing me with someone else. Now I have posted stats once Dak returned showing big improvement in the offense functioning better but at no times did I bash Rush even after the Philly game. He did not play well but despite that he gave this team a chance late in the game. Never once put the loss squarely on his shoulders, after all he did not commit 10 penalties in the game but his team did and take part of the blame on this loss.

Trade this off-season, post June 1. This is the sweet spot. We would save 31m in cap space for 2023. We would still have 40 million in Dead money, but it would be spread over future years 2024 - 2026.

Trade - You ask why would anybody trade for him? The answer is that since we would eat his remaining signing bonus, the acquiring team would get him on a two year 65m non guaranteed contract. There is actually value in that… Still that no trade clause though.

So there you have it. The only realistic option for 2023 is a post June 1 trade, that Dak agrees to. I think we could get a first round pick for for him… Maybe something like the Carson Wentz deal between Philly and Indy - a 23 third rounder and conditional 24 first rounder. .
