Nobody respects Garrett, they go right over his head to Jerry if something is bothering them...........See Dez talking to Jerry about the scheme

You think that chit happens in New England?

I have seen players fumble for the Pats and they looked literally terrified to walk back to the sideline with Hoodie looking at them. They literally pee themselves in fear of Hoodie. You think for one dam minute that there is a single player on this team that is scared of Clappy the Clown?

Nobody respects him because he isnt a leader or any good at coaching on gameday. When the game starts and the Cowboys are playing a decent team I always ask myself how is Garrett going to lose this one. And the same answer is always the same. The other team will adjust at half time to what Dallas is doing and Dallas wont make any halftime or in game adjustments. And then in garretts press conference he will always say he has to go back and look at the tape. Somehow they need to have a large monitor in the press conference area and bring up the plays in question and ask Garrett for example why didnt you help Green or Bell in the Atlanta game with a TE or RB. Your right about players going to Jerry and that does affect things but when the whistle blows Garrett is 100% responsible for everyone on the field. He can change anything he wants at any given moment.

Skip has declared Dez the problem for some time. OScan did a good job in going away from the leading questions......unlike Brice.

What worries me is the way he seemed to be avoiding the issues with the team not so much if scandrick comes back.

I'm not anti-Garrett like some Had. You probably know that. Not saying he's a great HC but I do think he's good enough, in fact better than about 20 others. I do wonder what we would say about JG if he had taken us to the playoffs and lost in the WC round like KC, the Bills, Carolina or the Rams. Some fans tend to blame everything BUT the way players execute. Have to wonder what KC fans think of Reid, Bills fans think of McDermott (probably very happy to make the playoffs at all), Panthers fans of Rivera, and Rams fans of McVat (again probably ecstatic to make the playoffs).

Not giving JG a free pass at all. But I don't give free passes to Linehan or the players either. I know there is room for improvement by all. 2018 is critical for Linehan. His contract expires at the end of the season and we see what happens to coaches with expiring contracts. We can rag on JJ for loyalty to coaches and players but the fact is several coaches are now gone who had expiring contracts and several players will not be back. 2018 could be a make or break year for JG. It could be made into another year IF he wins a playoff game in 2018. If the team fails then he could very well be gone. I have no choice but to ride it out for another year. I do love this team and have for 30 plus years.Just my thoughts

Heard on the radio when they were discussing this interview that Dak was the 2nd most pressured QB in the NFL at a rate of 36% or something. That's nuts and no wonder he was skittish!
That's completely BS and untrue. The worst thing is you're posting something you thought you heard from the radio and now 20-30 people will read that and take it as fact and pass it along....or worse, you have an agenda and completely made that statement up.

Uhhh, I don't make stuff up dude. That's what I heard so go look it up. I heard it on the Fan. Why don't you skip back over to the D.C. Site bud before calling out posters.

Perhaps you don't make stuff up but then I would suggest not quoting statistics from the Fan because what you stated is not true. The official pressure stats for 2017 are not available yet...from what I can tell, the 2016 pressure stats weren't posted anywhere until July of 2016. Of course if you pay $200 for the elite version of PFF you can get that information now, but I won't be doing that any time soon. However, I do watch enough football around the league and see enough offensive line play to know that we did not give up the 2nd most pressures this past season. I do also know that Dak, when under pressure, is one of the worst in the league at handling it.

I was pretty pissedoff at Scandrick about his play before I found out about his back injury. I can't argue with what he is saying in this interview though.

I respect your opinion on Garrett. The one thing that I wish Garrett would do that I believe would help him is change his approach to the game. Improve his communication with Linehan and be more assertive with making Linehan know exactly what he wants. He needs to step up and be more of a leader and a coach instead of a delegator. Put his stamp on this team. Do more homework with game planning and talk to Dak about what's going on out there.

They specifically said he was the second most pressured QB in football. On every dropback he was pressured at a 36% rate.

Undisputed is a ratings grab show, no different than Maury Povich or Jerry Springer. It is not real journalism, which I hate to say, may be lost for every in society with social media nonsense being passed off as fact. If Scandrick did not play for Dallas this would not be news.

As far as Scandrick goes, ask yourself, is he better than the the young players the Boys have at CB? Is he a game changer? I think he is average at best and he is a liability in tackling. I think the Cowboys are in the process of revamping the DBs from average Joes like Carr, Mo and Scandrick to young guns that want to prove they belong in the NFL.

If Dallas rolls the dice and releases Scandrick, I don't think it will be a move the Boys regret. I like his scrappy ness also. and if Dallas keeps that will be fine as well. He is just a guy, he is not elite.

Yall can act like yall know what it is but these guys are there 1st hand in the locker room when the cameras are not around at the end of the day ratings or not Cowboy news Rule the sports media.....and we see examples every year samething on crucial sundays we lose about 2-3 games because of coaching decisions play calling we always got a chance to advanced but we lose,

seeing your team getting mutilated over and over and over on defense, no adjustments to the issue of oline no answer always late to the party on adjustments if things not perfect and every all pro is available, and no answer to at least slow down the bleeding thats coaching wither you got feel and heartbeat of your team or you just follow the scripts when its clearly not working today coach but anyway!

But they did! When he said Romo was running the show, you could see he realized he was stepping on the line. Why did he abruptly snuff out the Beasley talk!
We all know why, because Dez wanted the ball and Jerry wanted Dez to get the ball. That is EXACTLY why that conversation was ended so quickly!

That’s your take I didn’t see it that way.

lol, I'm not taking it personally but I'm exactly that type of owner, manager, coach.... a delegator. I do my share of physical too but mostly I delegate that to the lads who work for us. My job is pure delegation and watching the market swings. I have to be good with delegating

Aven, some fans just don't like Dak. They don't want to hear that he was pressured on 36% of his drop backs, they prefer "noodle arm" and "poor foot work". He may have some of that too but I accept what you heard because I actually think he can be a very good starter down the road

0-1 in the playoffs with Dak (1-2 overall)..........I don't celebrate regular season wins over scrub teams like they actually mean something.

I’m not celebrating anything. I can’t stand Garrett. But the OP said Garrett would be a .350 coach without Romo. That’s what I was countering.
