Cowboys still have the talent to beat the Vikings with or without Moss if they are playing at their best. Despite Moss having Big games aganist Dallas I still think they can beat the Vikings.

I think it's different for Favre because that was the best season of his career.

Lightening in a bottle.

Last year for Moss was pretty par for the course.

Favre is still a good QB but he's not going to repeat last season. Randy Moss could repeat last season and then some if he wanted to.

I think he could repeat last season if he had a motivated Moss to help him.

Maybe. Getting Moss is the easy part. Motivating him might be impossible.

Knowing the wily Belichek, I bet he waited for week 5 to pull the trigger on this trade to get all he could out of Moss and then get him over to the Vikings so Moss can light up Revis again and put the Jets in the loss column on Monday night.

Geesh...just our luck that Moss will be primed and ready to go next week when we play Minny. It seems the Cowboys never catch a break in terms of facing a team missing key players. Of course fate would have it that Moss' first legitimate appearance with Minny would be against Dallas in a nationally televised game. Jets catch a break this week since Moss probably wont report to Minny until Friday leaving no chance to practice and really contribute on Sunday.

If Rice returns and is healthy, they've got serious and explosive WR corps with a motivated Moss, Rice and Harvin. At least we wont have to face that trio, until a possible playoff matchup.

Vikings have talent at all the offensive skilled positions. Their o-line is crap this year, and Favre doesn't have time to get the ball downfield.

The Jerry of the mid 1990's would throw his name in the hat just to keep Moss away from the likes of the Commanders and Vikings.

You gotta admit, a WR corps of Moss, Austin, Bryant, and Williams would be sick! Ogletree who???

You know he will be motivated at first, the hard part is keeping him motivated. Unfortunately Jerry provided him permanent motivation against Dallas.

I still think we can beat them with Moss. There is no way Colombo is going to let Ray Edwards get the best of him when he is healthy.

I'm not advocating that we get him. I'm just saying that a younger and riskier Jerry Jones would enter the derby to keep other teams from signing him. It would be unnecessary, but most things we define as "sick" are unnecessary.

...and I hope it stays that way. Nothing personal against Ogletree. I just want our top 3 to excel.

You know, I've never understood this. Most of the NFL passed on Randy Moss in 1998.

The Cowboys were battling PR issues at that time, and were drafting high character guys. Moss didn't fit the profile. This should be of no surprise to anyone, including Moss.

Apparently Jerry told Moss that he was going to take him if he fell to Dallas and Moss felt slighted when Jerry passed on him.

Irvin said he called Moss to apologize to him on that very day...saying something about his past screwups was the reason that they were drafting for character over pure talent.

We got Greg Ellis that year, who, at least based on his history to that point, was a high character guy.

Again, this was no surprise to me, but I understand how Moss may have felt slighted. However, I wonder how many other teams told him the same thing, only to pass on him.

yall are trippin. yeah he is 33 but he is still definitely a threat. a big time threat. and smh at the people who say he doesnt change the coverage of opposing defenses. you people really want to see percy harvin turn into wes welker? and to the people callin him a loser and a scumbag, i feel sorry for you. bad for new england short term, smart for them in the coming seasons. not a bad move for minnesota to add a legitimate number one to an offense in desperate need of one in the absence of rice for a 3rd round pick if thats what it is. dont see what the big arguement is. minny wins short term and possibly long term, and new england doesnt lose much since he's been doggin it lately and would walk after this year with nothing in return. think what ya want, but randy is not done.
