Kapolani, I'm not usually a fan of Japanese cars, but that evo is sick. Is it AWD?

Yep...

It has 3 differentials.

Front dif: limited slip.
Center diff has three modes that I can choose depending on conditions.
1) Tarmac (for dry road).
2) Gravel (for wet and dirt/gravel).
3) Snow

and rear diff...

It's called and Active Center Differential. The modes control the locking characteristics of the diff.

Pretty cool stuff.

Maybe my Mustang can keep up with it....after this summer....

Im getting a P1SC Procharger, with a 3 core intercooler, injectors and yada yada....right now it is stock under the hood except for the JLT cold air kit and BBK headers....

Ok, I was never a fan of the appearance of this generation Mustang, not saying it's ugly, but thought it lost some of the heritage.

Buuuuut DDAAAMMMMMMMMN, Mark that is one sick engine you have. That takes a lot of lovin! What did that beast dyno at?

I've always liked the "Rustangs."

Hah!

I'm taking a long look at the new Shelby GT500.

Gotta love all that American muscle.

The M3 runs 12.8 @ 113 mph. I couldn't hookup and spun through 1 ~ 3rd.

The Evo VIII runs 11.7 @ 121 mph. I was having problems that day with a slipping clutch. I'm sure it can run faster, but I'm not a drag strip kind of guy.

I'm more into Time Attack races (Summit Point, VIR, etc).

kapolani, the Evo looks great. I really like that front clip.

I'm really having a great time with the STi. No mods yet...waiting for the warranty to expire.

Aikmaniac -

I'm a big fan of the STi as well.

I almost got one of them, but ended up getting a better deal for the Evo.

I'm trying to get my fiance to like the STi so I can have one of those too. LOL.

Sorry to disappoint, but _no_ stickers or neons for me! Although, I've heard that they add at least 50hp to a car.

:lmao2:

I'm in my 30's so I like to be a little low key with the cars now-a-days. You'd be amazed how many times I have some young guy rev at me when I'm at a light. Once in a while I indulge myself and do a quick run through the gears. This car is incredibly quick out of the hole.

I'm a certified car nut. I'm all about the performance of a vehicle.

The incredible thing about the Evo - is that it's basically point and shoot. I've never been in a car that is so effortless to drive at the limit. It handles beautifully in all conditions - the more adverse - the better.

I used to have a Mini Cooper S as well. It was basically a track car. That car could turn on rails.

I'm in the process of looking for a E30 M3 to turn into a dedicated track car.

Thanks for the compliments!
