However those who choose to look at stupid stats and claim them as legit fine that is their choice but until he is playing both ways that stats is about as lame as it gets. He put his team in a position to win, as a backup that is what you look for but to lay the loss at his feet is absurd

I give him credit for that last drive, but that doesn't absolve him for the way he played for the entire game. Weeden is what he is, a guy who has won 5 games in his career, lost his last 11, and hasn't won a game since 2012. I expect this from him, the problem is when some fans think that he is going to lead this team to multiple victories.

Weeden is what he is a backup not much different than most and yes better than some I have seen this season and recent season. He is not out there throwing stupid passes and getting picked. he is playing within the frame work of what the team is asking of him. He is not out to lead, he out to manage the games to keep us in the games and give us a chance. He is not Romo or a number of other starting QB. he is not going to change the plays like a Romo will Weeden is doing what is asked. Sorry you can't figure that out. Chances are that is why anyone with a lick of sense has said the same when reporting on Weeden he is doing what is asked of him he is not out making the critical mistakes. If Dallas wins it will be because he has managed the games and not made mistake and that defense get off their butts and actually make plays create turnovers which is what every team out there is expecting from their defense when forced to play their backup QB

You're changing the argument, I never said he was Romo and I don't expect Weeden to be a playmaker which is precisely why I said that the Cowboys will be lucky to win a game while Romo is out. It's fans like you who think that we can win every game, even without Dez and Romo, is what is foolish to me.

Weeden can help the team put up 28 but the defense is incapable of holding a team down? but that is on Weeden. As for fans like me? When Matt Flynn took over for Aaron Rodgers a couple of years ago, they looked like one of the worst teams in the league, why? Because their backup was in. Are you going to be at the game? If not, then you have no impact on this game. You're over thinking it, Winston and Weeden are in control of how the game goes.
