a friend told me this morning vic carucci reported Dallas tried to trade into buffalo's spot for lynch but they wanted next year's 1. Anyone else hear this?

I have not. No way I give up a future 1st. That would be a tough pill to swallow.

After going back and watching Ogbah, Spence and Dodd highlights, I think I lean toward Ogbah. He shows quite a burst into the backfield.

Dodd seems to have one move, going around the outside, that he does with more power and speed. Spence seems to primarily be a speed rusher who tries to use movement to keep tackles' hands off of him. Ogbah seems to use both power and speed well.

lol, I did the same thing. Dodd is a limited athlete and Ogbah has a much higher upside.

OLB Myles Jack
ILB Reggie Ragland
DT Jarran Reed
DT Chris Jones
DE Noah Spence
DE Jonathon Bullard
DE Emmanuel Ogbah
DE Kevin Dodd

Good picks. Do any of you have any info on Jeremy Cash? He is a safety out of Duke. One of my co-workers was saying we should look at him later in the draft.

Meant more power than speed, not more power and speed for Dodd.

Drew Bolyart (The Huddle Report) loves Ogbah. Rates him #12 in the draft, and says he has the potential to be the best DLman in the draft. He just has to work on his technique.

Very productive pass rusher. PFF said no.3 overall in terms of pass rush grades

Marinelli is great at that. Makes it easy on defensive linemen to just get upfield.

He has all the tools, I would love him at 34.

I'm not going to be hurt if it's Dodd instead. I think he has a lot of upside as well. Ogbah just seems like a better overall pass-rushing prospect.

I think a case can be made for either, though.

I just read an article that says that JAck has told teams that he WILL eventually need microfracture surgery.. When that will be he doesn't know but at some point he will need it.

Didn't Ramsey have that in HS or was that just a rumor?

I like Ogbah speed and Power

You would think a guy with those measurable would be great with Marinelli.

6'4, 270, 4.65 40, he really has it all.

I don't know what his character is like though.

can Dodd and Ogbah slide inside and play DT or are they both strictly DE's?

I read on either McShay or Kipers reports. Solid guy, no issues off the field, solid teammate.

It really sounds from reading through the thread that there's potential for a really good (dare I say First Round) talent on Defense at #34, which is awesome. So many that in fact we might end up with another stud at #67. I hope that's where we go with both since we went with offense at #4.

Yes, I'd like to double down on the line if the draft falls that way. I know some want a DB, but I can live with the DBs we have if we can get some pressure on the passer.
