Our tackles are horrible

Joe Flacco dropped back 549 times compared to Romo's 596. 47 times over 16 games? Less than 3 more pass attempts per game...

did Flacco have as many yards as romo?

You want to make this a Tony Romo friendly offense, that starts with the offensive line, and getting players who can pass block. We have two of the worst starting offensive tackles when it comes to pass blocking.

I don't know about terrible but probably in the bottom half of the league. Maybe somewhere between 18-23.

What does that have to do with the offensive linemen?

Unless you're stating that Romo and Flacco are equals, and that the Ravens have receivers equal to us as well.

Our team should be an offensive nightmare for defenses, yet we struggled to score points all year because of this offensive line setting us back.

In a way he's right, they aren't terrible but I don't think we're winning another superbowl here until something changes with the oline play. We lost playoff games to both the Giants and Vikings almost exclusively due to poor line play.

Yes, but to say they're terrible is such a hyperbole that dude deserves to get criticized.

Ryan Clady gave up just as many sacks as Flozell. I guess Denver should get rid of one of the best young LT's in the game because GalianBeast think he's terrible too.

The position needs to be addressed but they aren't exactly Torrin Tucker and Rob Petitti out there.

Thats the thing though... Flozell Adams is ranked at least 12th highest in every negative pass blocking stat...

Four is getting owned in this thread.

BTW, our Oline problems can be directly placed on Andre Gurode's peanut-sized brain.

I am saying you know nothing about what type of offense the ravens run, if it's timing based with 3 steps and quick throws.

You look at a stat line and think you see the picture and you are mistaken.

I have made the mistake of talking to you before like you have a clue. Not this time.

When did Flacco ever attempt 549 passes?

22 qb pressures versus 35, and much younger... but im sure that you're right.

Yeah, tell that to the 49ers, Rams, Lions, Commanders, Raiders, Bills, Steelers, Chiefs, and Bears. I'm sure they'd love to trade.

post the stats of the tackles and guards that played on the opposite side of the ravens line.

in other words you are blantantly twisting crap to fit your agenda.

gotcha

He asked when did flacco have that many pass attempts...

the stat isn't for his pass attempts its for how many times he dropped back and didn't hand the ball over to his running back. But sure... thats twisting crap to fit my agenda...

Flacco has more sacks than Romo during 2009, so much for that quick pass style...

The ravens line got Flacco sacked more times than Romo, but the sieve wasn't Gaither, who is legit a great offensive tackle.

so in bizzarro world the other teams should have attacked the stronger part of the ravens' line?

You think that had anything to do with the stats? nah, gaither rocks, flo sucks, the world is gonna end in 2012 and the easter bunny stole your girlfriend.

I get it.

did you read what I said... I said dropbacks
How did he drop back 549 times when he attempted 499 and sacked only 36?

yup teams only attack one side of the line in the nfl... you're right. I know if we played the ravens, demarcus ware wouldn't even look at the qb's blindside... /sarcasm
