I was pretty high on Marc Colombo, but the fact is despite his mauling style, he is just as big of a liability as Flozell Adams.
They give up way too much pressure.
This entire line gives up way too much pressure.
Its as if we dont have a single player who excels in pass protection...
I wonder how much better we would be on offense if our line could pass block.

We probably wouldnt have won the game, but losing Adams in the Vikings game killed us. Bringing Colombo back for the playoffs didnt hurt us much vs Philly, but he clearly was nowhere near 100% and a major liability vs Minnesota.
That said, I dont have any illusions that Adams and Colombo are not upgradable, especially at their age. But to siggest they are "horrible" is just plain dumb.
Galian Beast;3298576 said:almost all those teams except chicago, washington and buffalo have better pass blocking tackles.

Galian Beast;3298572 said:The ravens line got Flacco sacked more times than Romo, but the sieve wasn't Gaither, who is legit a great offensive tackle.
Galian Beast;3298590 said:They're actually pretty good
LG - Ben Grubbs, 2 sacks allowed, 4 qb hits, 10 qb pressures
C - Matt Birk, 2 sacks allowed, 2 qb hits, 10 qb pressures
RG - Chris Chester, 4 sacks allowed, 1 qb hit, 15 pressures
RT - Michael oher, 6 sacks allowed, 8 qb hits, 21 pressures
That is 14 of his 36 sacks.Galian Beast;3298590 said:They're actually pretty good

And Gaither only played in 11 games.Galian Beast;3298605 said:add 4 to gaither, 1 to marshal yanda, 1 to todd heap, 1 to ray rice, 2 to leron mcclain
for a total of 9 additional sacks
the remainder is for other backup players or the qb himself.
