BTW, our Oline problems can be directly placed on Andre Gurode's peanut-sized brain.

Andre has two degrees, one is bachelors in ethnic studies the other in psychology. He's a smart cookie.

His football IQ on the other hand you could question, but I don't.

We could use upgrades at L and R tackle for sure. But so could half the teams in the league. I'm ok with Flo one more year as long as we draft his future replacement this year.

Let Free battle Marc at RT..... which I expect will happen come training camp.

He plays well against top competition. If it weren't for all the false starts, I think alot of people who dislike him... wouldn't.

I agree. I would rather lose Colombo over Flozell because worst case, Flozell could play RT or slide inside to guard. Colombo is a one dimensional position player who's coming back from two pretty serious injuries.

A tibial torsion fracture and a sprained ankle are not serious injuries.

He struggles grandly with elite edge rushers who use their speed against him.

He has strong games, but then he is still a complete weak link against teams, and that hurts our entire offense.

For a player like Colombo who has a pretty extensive injury history, I consider them serious and a red flag should be raised.

What history are you talking about? The guy had a very serious knee injury as a rookie I believe with the Bears that killed 2 years and lead to his release.

Since we signed and inserted him in the starting lineup, his been a rock. No injuries or games missed that I can remember til this season.

Could be off a year, but I think he's been our LU since 2006.

There plus years without incident and then he breaks his leg. So now he's injury prone?

Actually I'm an exercise science major so I know a little about anatomy. Yes, leg fractures are not a serious injury in football and heal rather quickly depending on the person, but all I'm saying is that Colombo was drafted in 2002 I believe, and it took him 4 years to get on the field because of injury. I'm not saying he's injury prone, but he has a HISTORY of injuries.

When did I say he's injury prone? There's a difference between having an injury history and being injury prone. Geez read it over again..

I think you're all overreating.

Any time someone says anything negative, they're obviously saying the sky is falling.

The offensive line was horrible this year, and it started with the tackles.

It has been a problem for some time.

We lost to Giants in playoffs because Giants collapsed our line, especially late.

We lost to Vikings the same way.

Last year flozell adams was 7th in the league in most qb pressures allowed. 12th in qb hits. 9th in sacks...

These aren't top 10s you want your starting left tackle to be in...

We're one of the most blitzed teams in the nfl, and that has nothing to do with Tony Romo.

Then disagree at the end. Romo is part of the problem there. Trying to be pocket passer when he needs to run/improvise/make a play. Opposing D's know he wont do that anymore so they blitz knowing that the line cant pick it up.
