Our WR situation

I don't see how anyone with rational opinion and basic knowledge of the game can look at the same play and not see that he could've dove and caught the ball without going out of bounds.
I just told you how. Do you think his left hand could have grabbed the ball by simply diving at the same trajectory? I don't see how anyone with rational opinion and basic knowledge of the game (or physics) could believe that.

You can pretty much throw the stats from that first game out... that was just bad defense. Most of the time they were wide open and it was simply blown assignments on the defense. But this game it was the opposite. The coverage on austin was pretty good, but he simply made plays when given the chance. Yeah, he did drop that one, even though the defender knocked it out, you still have to make that grab for a td. This was the first time this year that tony has looked in sync with a receiver. The coverage was there, but the timing between romo and austin was great
I'm not taking anything away from Tony today. He had as sharp a game as he's had all year IMO. It's unfortunate that it may be overshadowed by the number of drops or by the fact that "it's KC" y'know? Whether the opponent is 0-4 or 4-0, gotta execute.

I do think their redzone offense has been...iffy, but that IMO is more on Garrett for the calls and on the WRs.

Speaking of which, know where we can find out stats for drops so far this year vs last year?

No, but he's is a slightly above average talent, with unrealistic expectations, making ungodly money. Therefore one of the frustrated masses favorite targets.

See I think Roy is a guy that we just need to get the ball in his hands.

Our receivers are big guys who are hard for smallers DB's to tackle.

Jason Garrett runs this offense like every WR has Terry Glenn attributes.

Thats ok and all but sometimes I just want to see quick hitters that get these guys the ball and let them make a play.

That 3rd and 5 to Austin where he took it to the house in the 4th quarter is the exact kind of play im talking about.

Marty B too. Im sick of not see'ing him involved when I know he is open.

This offense hasn't hit on all cylinders yet and im hoping the Miles is consistently used in this Offense now and we get Felix Jones back and healthy.

Roy Williams doesn't suck.

We have just done a terrible job of getting our receivers the ball. Bennett too.

I think Williams is playing good this year if you consider the opportunities hes been given.

I agree. You can't just look at isolated pieces of the puzzle and make judgements on play. You know Austin will not 250 yrds every game. But the fact that he demonstrated he can hurt you, will force teams to account for him.

That is assuming we use him more. See Felix, martellus. This could change the entire look of our offense. I would look for matchup problems with both whitten and Williams underneath routes. The OC & QB must be disciplined enough to take those underneath routes and move the chains.

Boy oh boy... That RW11 sure is working out well. I'm glad we took out a 2nd mortgage to get him.
