Owens was history in Big D the moment he sat down with Deion for his interview on the NFL Network.

That was insubordination plain and simple and it was stupid! Simply STUPID!

After that it was only a matter of time. I appreciate Stephen Jones for taking out the trash.

However, what's even more amazing is how some try to trivialize the event as practically nothing. Or, more incredibly, attempt to compare the totally unnecessary nonsense with what other players have done in the past; as if it is somehow commonplace for an NFL player to use a one-on-one nationally televized platform to publicly and transparently berate his supervisor (e.g. offensive coordinator) and (significant) co-worker (e.g. quarterback) without attracting any reprecussions onto himself whatsoever. Free speech is one thing, my goodness, the utter gall of it all was stifling.

Of course, it wasn't a surprise. It's Terrell Owens.

I've always been a Boys fan from age 10 so I am interested in hearing your usual short story on how your assumption is so on point.

I do need to listen to that radio show one day. Perhaps now that TO is gone it will be palatable.

You're right. You're no Owens fan, just his self appointed Zone bodyguard. You're our version of his Kim Etheridge minus the 25 million reasons for him to stay alive phraseology.

TO was often defended on that show. Quite often by me in fact. Yet another assumption and attempted stereotype shot to hell.

Dead on. I'm glad the T.O. threads are basically gone on this forum. The only time i'll wacth owens is when he play the dolphins twice this season, other than that he's dead to me. I didn't expect anything less from owens, this is what he does. We as a fanbase can feed into this clown. Let him enjoy his 8-8 season is buffalo.

Having defended him tirelessly while he was here, I also am glad the threads are no longer here. The board is a much more pleasurable place to peruse without all of that crap. Some here clearly miss it though...

This sounds bogus to me. Not that TO could be that big of a deluded ***, but that he'd take a swipe via Twitter that he wouldn't take on camera. One of TO's problems is that he can't not say what's on his mind when a camera is rolling. I can't buy him zipping his lip for months and then sneaking out a backstab on Twitter.

So I figured that, in the spirit of Follow Friday and since a lot more people read this here blog than follow @tmacmahon, I'd give you folks a quick Cowboys guide to Twitter.
@MartyBTV -- It's just like Martellus Bennett's blog, except the entries are much shorter.
@jwill6 -- Third-round pick Jason Williams posts pretty often.
@mikejenkins21 -- Only post has been a link to his Web site, mikejenkins31.com, which is confusing considering his recent number change.
@JasonWitten -- Tons of Tony Romo romance gossip. (Just kidding.)
@DeAngelo6 -- Fifth-rounder DeAngelo Smith protected his updates after being drafted, not that he's tweeted anything controversial.
@terrellowens81 -- Oh, wait, he's not a Cowboy?
@RosenhausSports -- Superagent Drew Rosenhaus, who counts Marion Barber and Jenkins among his many clients, posts about his players often. Example: "Marion Barber's toe is now completely healed and he is primed to have an outstanding season. He's ready to resume full activity healthwise."

Ooohhh. Plot thickens. Is TO both a deluded *** *and* a sneaky little backstabbing punk? It could be.

Am I the only one disappointed if it turns out this really did come from him? Not surprised (obviously), but disappointed. Everyone involved had treated his departure with class up to this point. I'd hate to see that change.
