I wonder if the fake DeMarcus Ware read that list, and hatched his stupid plan from there? Why people feel the need to impersonate a celeb is beyond me.

Am I the only one disappointed if it turns out this really did come from him? Not surprised (obviously), but disappointed. Everyone involved had treated his departure with class up to this point. I'd hate to see that change.

Why would anyone be disappointed? This would be typical Owens behavior. To be disappointed, one would have to be surprised. There would be zero unexpectations here, in my opinion.

Owens' biggest issue has always been his mouth getting him into trouble and a lack of accountability on his part.

For the record, I was and am against the team releasing him, but I prefer that the scenario play itself out on the field during the 2009 season rather than feeding things like this to the 'National Enquirer' media.

When hopefully I'd be proven wrong by the Cowboys excelling without Owens.

He's a blogger, not a reporter. And his blogging reputation depends on identifying stories that have legs first. There's sufficient evidence that the tweet belongs to Owens. There's nothing wrong with sic'ing 'real journalists' on the story to determine if this one will walk or run.
