Owens doesn't know what he is talking about. Jason Garrett said when he returned from almost taking the job in St. Louis that he would "never" give Jerry Jones any kind of ultimatum that it was him or Owens.

No player was consulted about Owens. That includes Tony Romo.

In other words neither Romo nor Garrett had anything to do with his release. Neither of the them was consulted. Are they part of the reason why he is gone?

Absolutely. Owens was openly critical of both towards the end of the year and it pissed off a man named Stephen Jones. Owens waiver is his own damned fault. He simply can't shut his festering gob.

Good riddance to all the trash that was thrown away this off season.

I know how we heard that Stephen Jones was the driving force behind us getting rid of TO, but was that actually fact?

I'm just curious cuz I never got the whole story

I just have to ask if that comment in bold is just a guess, or is it what you hear? too

That is a fact not a guess. Stephen, widely respected as the best football man in the organization (including by Jerry) was the impetus behind Owens' release.

TO bashing Romo/Garret is worthy of an offseason post. Good work, DC. Bleu the fact that TO's an *** doesn't challenge anything you said about the guy. You may have liked the player, but you knew he was an ***, right?

Bashing? Was he really bashing them or just giving his opinion as to why he is no longer a Cowboy?

Let's use the word blaming, then, since that's the word TO reportedly used. He was unhappy and he blamed Garrett and Romo, allegedly. Everyone can decide for themselves if that's bashing or if the distinction is relevant.

I can't help myself but somehow TO reminds me of this guy.

Just take a look. Maybe you find some similarities too.

The distinction and the subject are both irrelevant if you ask me.

Cool. You're the one who suggested the distinction in the first place, though. I was perfectly happy with the word 'bash.'

I just didn't think he was bashing them and I do believe that Red Jesus played a part in his release but not Romo.

"@noelheller neither ws i, blame the OC & romo!! but i'm happy 2 b where i am but i miss the other guys tht were & r true teammates!!"

bash transitive verb

2: to attack physically or verbally <media bashing> <celebrity bashing>

attack transitive verb

2 : to assail with unfriendly or bitter words <a speech attacking her political enemies>

It's not a very positively worded response on his part. Fairly or unfairly, Owens is bitter towards Jason Garrett and Tony Romo. Otherwise, he would have stated that every current Cowboy were his 'true teammates'.

It's bashing, alright.

Maybe he didn't campaign for his release but i find it hard to fathom that if Jerry and Stephen asked his opinion that he voted to keep T.O.

Your right, the part about "true teammates" was a shot. But when I think of T.O. bashing someone this was pretty mild. I actually do believe that T.O. will eventually bash both of them and when he does it will be on a national stage and he will leave no doubt.

He was not asked. The only coach who had input was Wade.

I almost agree with every word you've said, but I wouldn't dream of limiting Terrell Owens to bashing only Garrett and Romo in the future. Not by a long shot.

I'm surprised they didn't want Jason Garrett's input.

After all, the O is his show.

Anyhow, I need to make a Stephen Jones jersey.

He is my hero.
