If he does, oh well, we chalk one up to "taking a flyer" on a guy with an ENORMOUS amount of talent...a guy that can give us points anytime he has his hands on the ball.

As I've said before, I believe Calvin Hill has done a wonderful job with head cases recently on the Cowboys. He'll have his work cutout for him, for sure, but I do believe it's possible this guy gets on the straight and narrow.

I guarantee that Pacman will be reinstated. Goodell has probably been in these talks from the beginning.

The league has nothing to worry about. They reinstate him, he screws up again, they come down with an even harsher punishment that confirms that they mean business and that the league does not tolerate troublemaking.

The Comcast deal, hosting the Super Bowl, Goodell knows that these things make dough for the league and are going to be forthright and honest with the people who drive the league to be the best sporting event around.

He's not going to screw over his peeps.

Not to beat a dead horse and I know that the situations/players aren't NEAR the same, but Owens' history (behavior) hasn't even sniffed Valley Ranch. To say that a player's history is a DEFINITE forecast for the future is many times incorrect.

Haley is another player that comes to mind. San Francisco couldn't get him out of town fast enough. In Dallas? Not a problem at all.

I'm not saying that Jones is a Haley or even and Owens. I will say that neither player had as much on the line to lose as Jones. That plays right into our hands.

I'm excited to see him play. We paid a little much for him, but this could very well work out nicely for us.

What do you guys think pacman is doing right now, or when he found out he was a cowboy?? LOL i think the guy ran to his ATL home and packed his bags in a min and ran to the airport to get to dallas LOL.. the guy can't wait to get to TX..

What's our consensus on the deal? :)

I can't find the specifics of what it ended up being in the thread.
