Everyone on this board can agree that CB is this team's biggest need. Everyone on this board would like to draft a CB in the first round, however if you can get a 24 year top flight corner for a bargain price - why not take that risk?

That allows us to take the best RB and WR available with our first round picks, and we've filled all three holes with young players.

Besides, if Pacman messes up again he knows he's banned from the league completely.

Exactly the reason why you don't take him.

If you sign him, then you're likely going to move to another position. And if he cuts up again, he's gone. Then where is the defense?

I'd rather just find someone more reliable, on the field and off.

Say No to PacMan.

Like I said before, who here would have missed Nate Jones.

Put it like this, who would you rather have Nate Jones or Pac Man?

The only thing that would scares me about getting PacMan is Jerry might feel if he gets a top flight CB then he might be willing to trade up for Run DMC.

And if Pacman screws up again, you are back to Nate Jones. :D

If Jerry didn't take Randy Moss back in the day I can't imagine he would be intrested in this clown. This guy simply can't stay out of trouble. If it is proven that he slapped some lady in a strip club in his latest incident he may just never play in the NFL again anyway.

I thought it was pretty self-explanatory.

I don't see how someone can proclaim to have so much faith, while having so little.

Whew, there is some serious heat on this fastball.

I am going to have to use this one.

There's a big difference between "proven false" and "charges being dropped."

Some clarification, if I may.

First, nothing has been proven false.
The woman merely dropped her petition to bring charges.
No charges were dropped. They just were not filed.
Also, it has yet to be determined how much money has exchanged hands for this sudden change of heart by the alleged victim.
We don't know if Pac-Man "made it rain" on the woman. :)

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
I've been following this thread all day and didn't want to comment at all but here goes.

I am the biggest CB fan on the planet. My affinity for the position is similar to how Coach Parcells is with TE's and LB's. If I were a GM I would draft one first day every season like Ron Wolf would do with QB's, why you ask? Because every team in the league needs them and if you have a bunch that can play you can always trade one for value.

That said, I wouldn't touch Pacman Jones right now. He would need to truly prove to Goddell, Jerry Jones, Wade and Calvin Hill that he has changed and be willing to undertake the proper counselling before I even entertain trading for him or picking him up despite his desire to play for Dallas. Pacman makes poor decisions, as do all of us at times, but he doesn't seem to learn from them and that makes him prone to repeat them. He needs to mature as a man before he even can step back into his profession.

I do believe that a person can change but he or she has to want to do so. Pacman would have to truly prove that he has grown and is willing to change and do whatever is asked of him by the commish or the team that acquires him even if it means a strict prohibition of strip clubs for the duration of his contract.

Pacman has all the talent in the world and if Jerry were to sign him, I trust that the evaluation process was stringent and complete thus I would accept it and trust Mr. Jones judgment. But, as of right now, I say no.

This draft has enough skilled players at CB to allow the 'Boys to upgrade. Personally, I want Talib from Kansas or McKelvin from Troy or Cason from Arizona in the 1st round and possibly sign Drayton Florence as a free agent.

Pass on Pacman.

I WELCOME PAC MAN JONES TO DALLAS...

I like getting players that haves a chip on their shoulder, them the ones who's usually playing hard the most. Dallas knows how to work with players like this. I don't believe it would be turmoil.

Pacman will be a Cowboy now book it! you guys have to remember that it doesnt matter if u guys want him or not it only matters if Jerry wants him and if Pacman has the potential to make the team better which he does well jerry is gonna get him. Pacman is probably here after next season IMO... we realy cant say we are all about winning with great guys as our 90's dynasty was full of bad seeds...
