I still dont really get excited when he scores. I am so hoping we find a guy to step in and be a difference maker at wr this year, so this will be the last year of owens.

I just cant root for the guy, he is the epitome of what I dont like in athletes.

Theebs, this is a rather curious statement.

What is it about Terrell Owens that seems to disgust you?

Is it the fact that the guy is a human being and thus has his own faults and hobgoblins like everyone else? The only difference between you, me and Terrell Owens, is that the whole world gets to take a peek into his life and while doing so, laugh, point and giggle at his shortcomings and when he stumbles in the game of life.

He is one of the few Cowboys that left it all on the field. He worked his absolute butt to regain his health, so that the team could benefit. Furthermore, in the face of an angry mob, he stood up and not only defended his Quarterback, but showed alot of emotion while doing so.

How anyone can still refuse to root for Terrell Eldorado Owens is an enigma in my book.

BringPacmanBack.com Song and Video
submitted by tcbailey24 4 hours ago (http://bringpacmanback.com/id9....)

If you want Pacman reinstated into the NFL soon, then go to bringpacmanback.com and make up a rap song to tell why Pac should be reinstated. Use the song beat that is provided with the video. The song and video are pretty sick and it definately goes into Beast Mode. Please help Pac come back!

This is grass roots activism folks.

Apparently you don't understand the difference between things that are "improbable" and things that are "impossible".

I can't be asked to explain it to you.

OK. Let's say it's improbable and not impossible. For your sake. Which I agree with BTW. It's not impossible. But what have you seen that indicates he has tried to change and therefore worth the risk?

Also, I may be wrong on this but weren't you one of the Anti TO guys before we brought him in?

Like its been said, Jerry Jones is a businessman who is in the business of elevating the Cowboys to Super Bowl contention. Adam "Pacman" Jones has a proven high quality skill set with no history of problems with his teammates.

I believe that Jerry will discreetly assess Jones off the field behavior to determine risk/reward. If Adam Jones is deemed an acceptable risk and would be willing to accept a below market incentive laden contract, then I think Jerry would definitely trade for him (lower value pick) or sign him if he is released.

Saying all that, I'm in favor of 2nd/3rd/4th... in this case, I might as well say 'another' chances; however, Adam Jones would have to somewhat prove himself to be an upstanding citizen publicly before I feel the Cowboys should take that chance. JMO

...I can't see anything better than a second day pick.

Veteran minimum with a behavior clause and performance incentives. The next NFL employer for Pacman Jones will have to be in the driver's seat with all the terms.

If not, then the only owner I can see biting would be Snyder.

The guy is 24 years old... That isn't old enough to argue he is stuck in his ways......

He hasn't been in trouble. The only problem he's had recently has been false. What more do you want? Him to publicly come out and declare that he's given himself to god? Neither you nor I know what he's been up to since his suspension. Maybe it's time to quit pretending we do and hope he's learned.

His talent alone makes him worth the minimal risk it would take to sign him if he became available.

I bet you believe in a lot of improbable things that have happened in history. But you believe in them after the fact huh?

Check out the interview....at the end, he says he wants out of Tennessee and wants to play for Dallas.

Go to this site and click on pacmans frame to the right.

After all, no matter how much a criminal record, Jerra can always trot out Calvin Hill who will make it all right.

And, there is always the chance some maturity might kick in for Pac-Man

And, we desperately need secondary help

And, let us not forget, Jerra would not have to "make it rain" for Pac-Man to sign.:lmao2:

Guess what I meant was that Jerry wouldn't do that. But at the same time I don't think it would make sense for us from a team perspective.

...I think Jerry would take the call and assess what Pacman is offering. It doesn't mean he has to buy, but he should listen to the offer.

Then he can assess how Reeves, the draft, free agency and Pacman can fit into solving the Cowboys' problems.

OK. Pollyanna all you want to on this.

Pacman is a bright ray of sunshine and his talant far outweighs his problems that he causes.

The fact that he is still hanging out with his "posse" that got him into trouble in Nashville, Vegas Atlanta and West Virgina means nothing.

What a great guy. Make him the face of the franchise.

Thank you and well said. I don't understand the dislike for Owens...you would think the guy has committed some sort of major crime.

way to misrepresent thinks. Yes he went to one the night before he met Goddell, but that was not the reason for him not getting reinstated. Goddell ASKED him to stay away from them he didn't tell him to, nor did he say that his reinstatement depended on him staying out of them. He just said he thought it would be best if he stayed out of them. Pac Man agreed at the time. The problem isn't him going to strip clubs, it is the people he is running with. As far as the Jan 3 incident, you don't even know if he was there since the charges have suddenly been dropped.

Way to misrepresent. Just kidding. I thought the story was that when Goodell and Pacman met Goodell asked Pacman what steps he was going to make to straighten up. Pacman said he would stop going to strip clubs. Goodell didn't order Jones to stop going to strip clubs, nor did he ask Pacman to stop going. Pacman volunteered.

Pacman going to strip clubs is the problem. Strip clubs themselves aren't bad. They probably aren't good, either, but that is not the argument for today. Pacman and strip clubs are bad. Part if that is because who Pacman is running with when he goes to the strip clubs. Part of that is Pacman himself because he has a history of causing his own trouble no matter what his entourage is doing.

Part of it is also that Pacman needs to be doing things better and cleaner than the next guy. He has been in trouble. He is supposed to be doing things to prove he is worthy of getting back into the NFL. He isn't some guy who has never been in trouble with the league showing up at a strip club for the first time. Pacman's past actions have put him in a position to be questioned and criticized for his current actions.

I thought it was pretty self-explanatory.

I don't see how someone can proclaim to have so much faith, while having so little.

It's all over the Nashville papers and radio talk shows.

When you have multiple reports of PacMan hanging with posse' and making it "rain" even at gas stations because little girls doubt your wealth, you don't shrug those off very lightly.
