No, but I would feel much more comfortable with Romo than Henson
I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just trying to see where you're coming from. If you had your throwing motion adjusted, been out of football for awhile, and had no real experience lately in game playing experience don't you think it will take you just a few games to get things going? And you didn't see any improvement from AZ from Seattle in Henson honestly?

What do you mean I dont know? BP has had reporters thrown out of practice on a consistant basis. He refuses to answer half the questions asked to him in press conferences. He tells many reporters what they can and cannot write about in practice.

Someone needs top define "fact" for you.

My mistake I guess you know what Bill is thinking tell me did he call you up and tell you what the deal is because if he didn't then all you are given us are your view points not what Bill is going or not going to do. I understand the word fact but it appears you think fact means your opinion

Oh God almighty :banghead:

BP has done all these things PUBLICALLY, watch the fawking news or read the paper sometime.

I guess I now know why so many dont know what the hell is going on, they dont pay attention.

What are you talking about? More than once Bill has talked about taking our shots down field, he brings is Bledsoe what is Drew known for? Oh yeah the deep ball. As for backup I don't know what Bill is going to do or not and neither do you, you have an opinion and in the end you may be right we will all find out soon enough

As soon as I read the PC recap, I knew this would start things.

Why is it such a big deal who the backup is?

I don't think it's a huge deal ... but it is important for a couple of reasons. The guy who wins #2 will get more reps ...

Also, the most important one is Bledsoe is going to get blitzed. We know that. There is a good chance that he's going to take a good beating. We know that. And if you take a beating, logic would tell you that you have a chance to get hurt. Then what?

Is this as bad as it got with QC and Hutchinson?

It's not even comparable. These are back up guys fighting for a spot behind Drew Bledsoe.

Unless you thought QC and Hutch were battling it out for #2 ...

Funny, they are similar too, a bunch of argument over marginal players.

I'm thinking we need some new prospects, too. Let's hope we do have something serviceable this year though ... someone ... anyone ... please step up your game.

Well, I'll admit right this minute that I'm a bit confused. What exactly are you refering to?

What are you seeing that leads you to believe Henson should be cut and Romo should be 2 or what ever?

I THINK HENSON LOOKS LIKE OUR BEST QB, get him some reps and let him throw it deep. He has a stronger arm then BLEDSOE and he moves better

Why should BP be concerned with saving face he could care less (Rogers). IMO, I think that after BP saw the Seattle game, he saw improvement there and so he's not ready to say yet until seeing one more game.

When he's completely uncomfortable with something, he usually brings in someone else since he can see the handwriting on the wall.

There you go again, saying you know what BP knows and what BP thinks. The truth is, you have NO CLUE, nor do any of us. There are many possible reasons as to why BP has not named the backup, unfortuneatly you are blind to them. Let me give you a crash course on how the things work:

1: He is, in fact, trying to save face as long as possible. He knows Henson was brought here to be the future, and now that it's obvious he realizes that he isnt (shown by the fact that he did not play at all last year after we knew the year was a lost cause and could have played him without consequence, and by the fact that he has given Romo more reps in both TC and games) he and JJ dont want to have to admit they *** up royally by putting him 3rd on the DC, behind an undrafted FA. In time he will be forced to name Romo the 2nd QB because Henson is just too unreliable for even JJ to stand.

2: He doesnt want to hear about it for the next 2 weeks. No matter who he names, people will bash him and the papers will whine and everyone with a microphone will ask him how he could be so stupid and so on and so forth, especially if he names Romo the starter.

Do you even read posts? Where in that post did I say anything about what BP thinks or knows? What I said was factual BP said he would name a starter this week, BP went back on what he said and decided to wait another game. These are facts that can not be denied.

Weren't you just talking smack about "saying you know what BP thinks or knows"?

So this entire point #1 is total BS specualtion on your part. Sorry I live in the real world and in the real world BP doesn't give a darn about what people think of his personell choices. In the real world BP decided not to name a #2 when he said he would.

Your points keep getting worse. You think BP gives two shakes what the media or fans say? If he cared he would have played Henson last season huh. Romo as a starter LMAO I seriously hope that was a joke because I have a better chance at starting the season as Cowboys starter than Romo.

I have! Evidently you blank out the things that do not fit your argument for Romo that is your choice but maybe you should pay a little attention it is obvious you don't. If Romo is named backup I have no problem with that at all. My only argument is watching people spin things to try and fit their own feeling and try to sell it as "this is what Parcells thinks!"

I dont think Henson should be cut, he should just be #3 on the DC. Romo clearly has command of the offense in a way Henson cant even approach yet. Romo is making reads at the line, getting guys in position, calling audibles, checking off to his 3rd and 4th WRs, etc.

Drew is locking in on WRs, he is not making adjustments on the line, looks confused when a play breaks down, and is playing with confidence of a 4th string HS QB.

You can argue that Henson has the better arm, that he has more potential, whatever. Romo is far more than the sum of the parts, while Drew is a broken down Cadillac with no engine.

Well, clearly we don't agree. I have not seen all of these things you are professing to be true from Romo. Romo is doing what is asked of him, as is Henson.

If you have the Seattle game taped, watch the very first pass play from Henson. He checks down to his third option on that completion. Really a very nice play. I am not seeing the same things you are seeing.

Perhaps the cable?

Seems like you think Romo can start then. Hey, I really do like Romo I really do. I think the guy is quick on his feet at making decisions, I think he has poise in the pocket, and I think he throws a nice ball.

But when I see Henson, I see between the lines. I can see that this guy has guts and is not afraid to attack. Yeah he looks sparatic sometimes, but if you read between the lines he has something possibly special. He may never get that chance, but I think if you give Henson time, he can blow them all away IMO.

No, I think Bledsoe is still the best QB on this team.

So duombsday, we're a deep threat team now?

Why didn't I get the memo?

:laugh2:

I thought we were a ball control offense ... Bill isn't going to be throwing deep too many times. A few, of course, but not a lot.

I'm not saying we're not going deep on occassion, every team does. But we didn't bring in Bledsoe so we could be a deep threat team.
