Well if you watch the game tape closely, after Romo makes the pass behind Polite, short of the sticks, he really gives Romo a dirty look and says a few choice words to him as Romo came off the field.

Bill looks p!ssed all the time on the sidelines. I don't think anyone can read too much into Bill's facial expressions.

Well I think Henson is slowly starting to get comfortable. It's obvious physically who's the better QB (Henson) and mentally I think Romo is ahead of Henson.

But judging the this past game, it seems like Henson is slowly starting to figure things out. He has more pocket presence than Bledsoe, and way more zip on the ball than Romo, he just needs time IMO.

True at the beginning of camp he talked of having the #2 in place after the 2nd pre-season game then right before that game he says he may extend that time and now he has. I'm not claiming it is Henson job or Romo job only that I think he wants to see more before he does name the backup

It almost appears that BP is looking for a good showing to name Henson #2 almost like he does not want to name Romo backup.

Ummm.... I still don't think he had Witten. Am I correct on this? and not only did Morgan drop a critical catch but so did the fullback. If those guys had done their job, Henson would have only had one incompletion (interception) and he would have have great numbers. Along with that all of his passes were on the money. Romo made a lot of lame duck passes. Sorry but all this stuff about he has just as good an arm as Henson or that he is throwing the ball better is BS. Frankly I think that some of you just hate henson because the reports of his poor showing this last game are greatly overexaggerated.

So do you know that Henson or Romo will be the 2nd QB?
Not ready to say that right this minute. It will be forthcoming very shortly. We’re making up the rosters right at this moment. We got some moving parts and nicked up. I’m worried about Fergy playing the start of this season. He’s not playing this week either, and he hasn’t played a snap this preseason. I know what I’ve seen this preseason from the QB’s and I’m not disclosing it yet. I’m in the process of getting the lineups together.



You jesters missed Parcells say this - He's made up his mind. He just hasn't announcced it yet. That was yet another "strerling" Henson performance. 4-10 and a pick!

Off to make my Avatar bet and back to where i came from.

If all Henson wanted to do is make his stats look good he could have just threw a lot of dump off passes just as Romo did, in the end it makes your QB rating look a lot better but I'm not so sure that is all Bill is looking at.

If it is a "fact" that Romo has played so much better why has BP not seen it? Why in the world would he go back on what he said about naming the #2 after the 2nd game, and decide he wants to see them again. Maybe its because its not stats BP looks at when evaluating the guys.

Well I'm not trying to make enimies here we are all brothers and sisters here, it's just that it seems like instead of individuals basing their opinions on reality, they have personal agendas. They like this person because they just like them.
You forget that BP refuses to play Henson for any period of time, plus he changes his entire throwing motion. So Henson is alone trying to fight against all of the odds. And that's why I was saying that it seems like he was starting to figure things out this last game. (friends?)

Cool I would like to see those facts because I'm not seeing Romo putting the ball down field, in the cards game he was completing some very high percentage throws but was not putting the ball down field. I'm not aginst Romo in the least but the stats are not telling the whole story. As for Henson I agree he has not looked like a world beater either but he has put the ball down field a bit more than Romo has. If Romo was a lock then I see no reason why Bill has delayed naming the backup
