I never said having a win equals good. My point is, they have beat teams. And we very well could've been one of those teams. We aren't the Seahawks. We could've lost to the Raiders yesterday.

So who is a above average team. I'll remember to let you know then. Bears aren't above average because they stink and if we beat them they'll probably either have more losses than wins or be a .500 team. How about the Packers? May or may not have Rodgers but he'll be hurt so that win won't count. Then we have Eagirls and Deadskins....I guess i'll have to contact you in the post season when we finally beat someone....?

I've seen enough form Amendola to know that he's nowhere near a healthy Miles league and if he was on this team he'd probably be our 5th option behind Demarco, Witten, Miles and Dez.

That is laughable. If amendola were on our team, nor miles or Beasley would see the field much. Amendola would be our slot receiver and a very good third receiving option. Amendola is much quicker and in his prime. Miles has only a couple seasons left. Going forward, miles will not bring much to the table. Amendola will be good for years to come. It really is not close. Saying anything else is just being a blind homer. If you can watch miles play and then watch amendola and somehow you conclude miles is better at this point in time, then you lose all credibility.

At this point in time, no GM would pick miles over amendola. That is a no brainer. And you have nothing to say about miles being the worst value contract on this team.

So in order for me to get back to you it will take beating a Bears team WITH Cutler? Am I understanding that correctly? Doesn't Cutler need a few games back in order to get healthy in order for us to consider that a good win?

Is beating a team without it's starting QB anything to brag about?

That's how the Giants amassed their '4-game win streak' that was exposed as nothing but a mirage.

If we beat the Bears, we can talk about it then. Until then, it's speculation and a lot of wishful thinking.

Lol no, cutler should be fresh and on his game. That would be a good win.

No GM in the world would take miles Austin over Danny amendola at this point in time. That is laughable. Amendola has the much higher value.

Makes sense. Once was born in 1984 and the other was born in '85. One has NEVER accomplished anything in this league. The other is a 2 time Pro Bowler and had nearly 1,000 yards last season playing hurt and with two other guys on his team with 1,000 yards. Makes sense. Then again there's a GM in this league who picked Amendola over Welker so I guess I can sort of see your point. There are some foolish GM's in this league.....

It's especially troubling when you paint yourself into a corner and have no other options.

If Romo misses a ton of time and then stinks when he returns, we can have the conversation then.

I think you would be hard-pressed to find a team, other than the Raiders, spending more money on players not contributing this year.

A dubious distinction.

So you're comparing us to the Raiders who are paying people no longer on their team while our guys Ratliff, Miles and Spencer all have been suffering injuries? Raiders are paying Rolando McClain, Carson Palmer and Richard Seymour. Fair assessment....

I believe it is but you believe its not. That's fine. I'm not arguing that with you. I'm asking you a simple question. You told me to get back to you when we beat a good team. I'm asking you what is a good team? Everyone we have left on the schedule is hurt or is not a average team. This is a legitimate question.

Other than the Rams, I think we could've lost to every other team we've played.

Should that make us feel better or worse?

Exactly what is says, .500 is average, anything better is therefore above average.

I know you think Amendola is probably a lot younger than Miles being that he's done nothing in this league and seems like a up and comer but they are nearly the same age. Miles is one year off. In 2013, Amendola is what he is at this point. Sorry to tell you that. Just because he's white and he's short doesn't make him the next Wes Welker regardless of what the media tries to portray him.

lol @ your "eye test"

Thanks coach.

Thanks for bringing something to the table.

Not.

No GM in the league would pick miles over amendola at this point in their careers. Miles is the worst value contract on this team.

Wasted money is wasted money.

Paying for zero production is a waste no matter how you slice it.

I mean do you honestly think this team had no idea about these guys?

No knowledge of any issues with Spencer?

No problems with the suddenly-healthy Ratliff?

No prior injury history with Austin?

Naïve or foolish?

Bringing nothing is better than brings utter BS.

Winning record.

Winning more games than you lost.

It's not that hard.

We may make the playoffs, based solely on the fact that we play in the league's worst division.

Our sham appearance will likely mean that a more deserving team will miss out.

Please reach out to me if we beat the Bears. Honestly, I will have no trouble talking further about this topic then.

I'll be too happy about the win to get upset.

Why bring race into the argument? Typical move of ppl whom lack football intelligence.

Amendola is what he is. And that is hands down better than miles. And there's not a GM in the league that would say otherwise.

Personally, I believe if you win 10 or 11 games you deserve to be in the post season. Especially if you started off 4 and 5. That's a great way to end a season.

Broaddus said that Miles has freed up Bryant and Witten more. While he is not producing much, defenses have to respect him and cannot bracket those two as much.

Wow!

I completely agree!

And if this team can do that, they absolutely do deserve it!

I would love for it to happen, but based on what I have seen so far, I have little faith in it.

But for the record, I hope you're right and I'm wrong!

;)

I wasn't bringing race into it. He's been labeled the next Wes Welker and its not because he plays for the Pats. Its because he looks like him. But that's where the comparison stops. Amendola is NO Wes Welker and never will be. Just like how in the NBA when all those foreign 7 footers who could shoot 3's came in to the league they were all the next Dirk? Its the same with Wes Welker.

Amendola has proved nothing in this league including this year but he's hands down better than a healthy Miles. How you came to this realization.....only you will know.

Beasley and Williams are not ready for his role... and last week, he showed that he's healthly now.. I do think Miles will be gone shortly.

I think Williams would do fine. He's certainly not a finished product but I'd be willing to bet he'd be more productive as the #2 than Austin would over the next 16 games.

The good news is with Romo, Dez, Witten, and a couple of nice slot guys like Harris and Beasley, even a good pass catcher out of the backfield in Murray, you don't need an all world 2nd WR.
