Parsons and Taylor should never be mentioned in the same sentence

No, but when teams start running on us. Parson should be moved to linebacker because we really don’t have any good linebackers.

L.T. was a COMPLETE linebacker. He was as good against the run as he was terrorizing qbs. His backside pursuit of rbs was amazing. And he had no problems shedding blocks and getting the tackle when offenses attempted to run directly at him as well.

Micah might be a lion when prowling for qbs. But he is a mere pup against the run. Now here is the greatest defensive player of all time showing you raw aggression and relentless pursuit against the run. Micah is not even in the same stratosphere.

A coked-up Micah Parsons would be just as good as a coked-up Taylor was. Don’t fool yourselves into thinking that cocaine didn’t play a role in how LT performed.

Ridiculous comment. Anyone who ever saw LT play knows Parsons isn’t even in the conversation. That’s not intended by me as a knock. Parsons is still one of the beast pass rushers we have ever had. He piles up pressures and sacks. And he tends to get them when we really need them, something some recent Dallas DEs never seemed to do.

That said, Parsons just isn’t built like LT. He isn’t 1/3 as physical. That’s just a fact.

One year wonder? What are you talking about? He’s the current favorite to win DPOY and more than likely to make his 3rd consecutive First-team All-Pro
He is not the favorite to win DPOY. He's in 9th place in sacks currently. He's not even the top candidate on his own team IMO.

Yeah, I'd say
LT''s one and only generational impact on the game remains in tact.
And that he still has no peers.

LT set the bar really high. Everyone is looking, and hoping they have the next LT. Many players have flashed, including Parsons, but they inevitably fall short. I still have hope for Parsons that he can still be a game wrecker. But I highly doubt he approaches LT.

Taylor would have to play the run completely different in today's game. All those highlights of him chasing the runner down along the LOS would become highlights of QBs making him look bad with simple RPOs until he quit crashing down the LOS.
Taylor was and always will be one of, if not the best LBers ever, but you really can't compare players from different eras fairly.
All that being said, Micah is good, but he is no LT.

They don't even play the same position. How many times do you see Parson's actually line up at LB and not just rush the passer? All he does is rush the passer. Every play. Even when it's an obvious run formation. I don't know why.

Micah was like zeke. one year wonder.

sad. I wanted him too in the draft unlike most.

he has been Institutionalized to accept mediocrity and focus on alternate revenue streams.
Are you turning on Micah like many did to Zeke? OMG!!!

Micah is a pass rush specialist. If he isn’t getting to the qb consistently he is basically ineffective.

Imagine the damage Micah would do on a defense loaded like the Giants were and playing his natural position.

The man is a freak of nature.

Unfortunately for Dallas fans, Jerry is going to pay him way too much and cripple the team. Again.

LT or not...Micah has a problem finding the ball. Especially after it's been handed off. That's like right from the get go.

I saw him chasing more plays from behind than Jaylon EVER did.
Could it be because he's (Parson's) rushing the passer and is deeper in the back field than Jaylon ever was as a traditional linebacker?
