Ware was a athletic freak just like Parson's. I think he held up at the point of attack better then Parson's because he was so strong and could anchor. Parson's has more quick twitch, but Ware was no slacker in that regard. Wish we had him in his prime right now with Parson's. That would be flat out amazing.

I guess I have too much reverence for D. Ware's career to buy into this but the stats don't lie.

Micah is much more clutch than DWare. You can count on Micah to make a big play when a big play is most needed.

DWare, with the exception of that comeback game in New Orleans, did not perform well late in games or when a big play was needed.

....Parson's 4th quarter stats are nearly as identical as Ware's 2006 season. You're pushing a myth that has already been addressed a page back.

Or just admitting you're pushing something that had no basis to it. I also don't remember Parsons in the 49ers game last year. I, personally, wouldn't go at Parson's for that - but it just seems really odd that Parson's is considered this player who shows up when it matters most, when he was a no show in the biggest game of his career thus far.

Parsons is unique because of his ability to play multiple positions, while Ware was mostly an edge player. Both fantastic athletes, though it's hard comparing at this point.

Ware had a hall of fame career was a 4x all-pro, 7x pro bowler, won a Super Bowl, and is top 15 all-time in sacks.

Parsons is off to a great start, but has a lot more football to play to be in the company of other hall of famers.

Reading is your friend. Your idea has already been shot down and squashed as not true.
