Parsons is 25 yrs old making a “ Fist full of Dollars “ with Clint Eastwood ….so what if he has a podcast what do I care . Half the world has podcasts .

I know when I watch the Cowboys he terrorizes QB’s helps make the Cowboys better . 49 sacks already and the man hasn’t even gotten into the Jones parking and beer receipts second contract yet . Jerry pay the man get it over with !

I'm not taking a penny less than what I'm worth. There are thousands of players that never get this opportunity every year, and I'm getting everything out of it that I can, and let Jerry the dumb *** worry about the rest.

You have no clue when someone is lying. You would find fault with anything he said. It would suck to have suck a pessimistic outlook on everything about something I like.
See, I think it would suck to believe everything someone says.

To each their own.

You know Micah is lying, right?

Dak said he didn't play for the money also then a week later started his "for the QB brotherhood" junk
MountaineerCowboy.......why should an NFL player settle for less, with negotiating power courtesy of Agent, play on the field and market value, in this violent sport filled with injuries, possible career-enders, and short-term career expectancy?

Example: Nick Chubb (Cleveland) will never get his true worth now, from anybody.

Pay parsons the nick bosa contract right now. It's a discount as of the moment and shows Parsons the cowboys value him. Dak should have signed for 55.1 million and done the same.

Exactly. I always side with the players. They're the reason we watch, not the salary cap.

I remember when Dak agreed in principle to his 2nd contract only to have his agent sqaush it.
You’re probably correct but I'm remaining hopeful that there's a player out there somewhere that has the balls to actually believe it and stick by his comments.
(I know, I know, how gullible of me...lol)

It would be great if someone brought up that point to Parsons. (Dak's words against his actions)
There's only 1 player I can recall who did the bold and he retired not too long ago - Tom Brady. Tom wanted to win and was willing to do ANYTHING to keep winning super bowls. That type of player hasn't worn a Cowboys uniform since the 90's.

Nice article.......but Micah needs to simply be quiet in the media and let his agent do the talking. He's all over the place talking about his pending negotiation and may find out the negotiating room could get ruthless, frank, truthful, and show video of play......then what? It would not be personal.....just business. Hope he understands.
November 23, 2024 sub-discussion excerpt:

They all talk too much. And they all never shut up. There is not any need to differentiate the 'talking too much'. Just my take.

Well.....you do have to talk to the media, a bit...... or storming out from an interview or locker room before the media crush sends an "optics" too. Then again, you could go with "I'm just here so I don't get fined." even after good games or wins.
___________

Question..?

Why must Micah Parsons 'need to simply be quiet in the media' in your opinion?

I wonder if Parsons' statements are directed at Jerry Jones, for some reason!
I'm totally certain he'd be tickled pink, if he reads them. He'd love seeing that!!

Parsons has got to know that if he really wants to win a SB, it's not going to be in Dallas. When an owner tells the world, "We're going all-in," and then proceeds to do nothing and let players walk, you'd better take note. I'll guarantee you there are players on contending teams right now that are in Parsons ear. Get out of here before you become another wasted career under the Jones boys. Nobody here would blame you

I don’t know why people care how much players get paid or don’t get paid.
They don't when that player is being paid based on performance.
Every position in the NFL except for QB is paid on performance. And that throws off the whole idea of creating parity among competition.
