at least Shockey was at the game

Yeah, well, Shockey probably remembers the Super Bowl just as well as that other dude anyway....

Crayton has contributed a great deal to the Cowboys this season. He's even a punt returner! And by punt returner I mean he fair-catches and/or advances the ball 1-4 yards each time.

Kidding aside, I think he'll be a great #3 receiver but Cowboys offense needs more firepower to help combat the blitz league known as the NFC East.
:laugh2: The part in bold is funny as hell.

Patrick really let us down, but we've seen what he is capable of. He brain-farted for 4 quarters in that playoff game. It pains me to think what kind of hero Romo would've been if Crayton had held on, if TO had caught that fingertip pass, if Fasano had caught that one in between his numbers and if Crayton hadn't stopped on his route. I'm talking 4 potential TD passes in addition to the one he threw to TO. We would've killed them. For all of the Giants great pass rush, the Dallas Cowboys would've BLOWN THEM OUT if they had been clutch. The fact that they weren't pains me to no end.

I still like Patrick very much. I hope he learned a lesson though.

He said after the NJFG playoff game that he wouldn't be shutting his mouth...

I think even Tom Brady learned to keep his mouth shut pre-game this season.

17 points...hahaha...we'll see...haha

I hope he focuses more on catching the ball next season than he does running his mouth. I got tired of his act long before the playoff game. He kept drawing bull's eyes on his team mates' backs. He would say what TO would do to the DB and it stirred the DBs even more to beat TO.

Then when crunch time came Patrick was the biggest wuss of all.

I'm a big fan of PC, I really am. I just think he really let us down in our biggest game of the year and it was made worse cause he ran his mouth all year long and then failed to deliver in moments when it mattered most.

But I think he's a solid #2 and if we could somehow wind up with a better #2 he'd be a great #3.

Crayton wasn't the only sloppy player, just the most obvious one.

I have been a big fan of PC since he's been on the team but this year's fiasco has leveled things out and he'll have to earn his way back into my hearty but I doubt he'll try. He's got his money and his smart mouth, I guess he'll be happy with that.

Maybe he spent too much time with Antonio Bryant.

I won't be paying much attention for a while.

I am a Cowboy fan who lives in NY who just wants to take this time to thank Patrick "The Mouth" Crayton for his contribution to the Giant's World Championship....I get to hear and see local coverage of the Giants mouthing off and listen to their humble fans follow suit.

And to think that all this wonderfulness in Giant country might not have been possible had Crayton talked a little less and caught a short pass with no one between him and the end zone, or if he had finished running his pass route on the second last play against the Giants. I'm not sure if there was ever a time in Cowboy history where a #3 receiver had such an impact. I know this might be a little harsh on Patrick but I know he can take it because he talks so tough. Maybe I am just a little bitter about our choking that game to the Giants and then having to live in the middle of their celebration.

dude...build a bridge and get over it.

Crayton single-handedly cost the team a trip to the NFC Championship and possibly the SB. It is going to be a long time before fans forget this.

Man I feel bad for you guys, because NY fans are the worst when their teams win!

Its why I hate (and I've said it a thousand times) being in Bills country. And recently the Giants fans are just as bad.

Oh, he didn't learn nuthin

He's not gonna change from being a loudmouth. But I hope he practices the fundamentals. Crayfish is strictly second-string. Too bad Jerra threw a lot of money at him before Crayton could prove himself.

The craziest thing about this whole situation is that for the past two years, Patty Crayton has easily been the most sure-handed player on this team. In fact, remember in '05 when he broke his ankle in OT against the Giants and STILL hung onto the ball?

Then he catches fumble-itis the second we need him most. If Crayton showed up, we'd have had that shot at the Pats.

:bang2:

*Shrugs* I'd hate to think where this team would have been throughout the regular season without him over there catching his 7 or 8 TDs and 700 or so yards to help keep defenses off of Owens and Witten.

But, yeah, cause of a bad game he totally sucks. Maybe you could try out for us next year and show us how a real number two should get it done.
