I'm hangry and rueing (mostly). I think he went to the Colts for the guaranteed starter job, so if they selected Hargreaves or Alexander (both of which could/would be better) he might get bounced anyway.

Oh. So misplaced angst. Carry on.

Now that it's all said and done I'm happy the Cowboys are continuing to not overstretch their bounds by getting into bidding wars with other teams cast outs. Even at a position of need.

I will be hopeful we allocate those dollars somewhere else which gives us leverage to cut or restructure Carr.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

We need to hold on to Carr. He is the best CB we could possibly have this coming season.
We failed to sign a replacement so in doing so we decided he was who we were going with.
We could draft a CB in the first round...but Carr is better than a rookie this coming season.

It sucks but it's real.

No more interest in Leon Hall?

Hard to say. Not much when he visited other than he did and was gone.

Not much to choose from save him or the player the Colts did not want in Greg Toler.

Yeah I have no clue what site he was using and with four threads with this subject I'm giving up. All I cared is he was going to be a big upgrade if he signed. Going into free agency I wanted Heyward or Robinson sucks we didn't get either. And this info is even different than the Twitter link I found where he is listed as 84.

Always a fan of grades, Pro Football Focus ranked Robinson as the 30th best cornerback in ’15, with a 79.4 overall grade. His run defense was 78.9, and his coverage grade was 78.1. Compare that with the cornerbacks from last season, and he’s head and shoulders above anyone on the roster of the Cowboys. The highest graded Cowboys cornerback from last season who was also ranked overall was Carr at 54.7 overall, followed by Claiborne at 38.5.
