Patrick Robinson deal put on hold **Update: Signs with Colts**

Surprised Dallas would let this out.

How do you know it was Dallas that let this out? Maybe it was the ex-agent and he is throwing it out there to show everyone that he maybe got a better deal for his client than the new agent. I don't know.

Wow!

That's a lot more than I figured the Cowboys would have offered him... If these numbers are true.

Good riddance. Can find his equal in draft. Doesn't mean we will but know we can and hope we do.

Yeah. My money is on the jilted lover. . AKA fired agent.

I would have loved to have added him but I agree with not getting into bidding war

I wonder if there even was a bidding war w anybody? Seems like agent agreed and Robinson fired him for doing so. He clearly visited and wasnt interested in coming here

Maybe this why he got a new agent? The old agent essentially agreed to a deal he did not authorize?

Yup....Getting pretty desperate. I bet we just increased our offer to Hall. I can't see us going in to the draft relying on drafting someone (2nd round or later)...and then making him a starter.

very serious abouut getting rid of carr huh. 3 years 13 million we offered is much for a bust out of new orleans. and probably is a one hit wonder in san diego.

I hope ramsey falls now real bad

You got me. I don't know. But usually an agent is not going back to the team that lost the player to float the information. Clarence Hill is not exactly Mr. National Media.

May have been more about being the starter there. Who knows, he may have signed for less.

And Carr's leverage just increased dramatically.

My optimism wanes.

pretty raunchy way for the player to do business.

Why is it on the player?

It could very well be a misunderstanding. His agent did something without his consent and it blew up.

You have to admit, you do not see the kind of odd things floating through the media, so that is really the source.

All in all, it was Rapoport running around saying it was a done deal. Then other "sources" saying it was imminent, then others saying he was more likely than Morris.

All false.
