I would also be in favor of trading a 4th round pick to the Browns for Corey Coleman. He's from Dallas, and went to school at Baylor. He's had some soft tissue injuries, but his base salary over the next two seasons is $3,548,863 - an average of about $1.775M per season. That is a good bargain in today's market. The Cowboys would also get a 5th year option on him for the 2020 season, which could be useful after Bryant's contract ends, and Williams' contract guarantees are over.

I’d also take a look at RFA Willie Snead

doesn't seem like the best fit to me, but alex didn't have any issues hitting reek in stride

Truth. Richardson has made some circus catches over the years as well .... with his hands, not body.

I really like his game. Scares me that he's a RFA though.

I'm really out of touch with his reputation. I had no clue he would get anything like that. I thought there was a shot he'd sign a Terell Pryor type deal. The #1 receiving option was always available to him to take and he never really took it or came close to doing it.

Have you seen where the Browns are only asking for a fourth rounder?

It is a strange signing. They got Alex Smith, who is not the most exceptional deep passer to throw to a guy who's game is to take the top off a defense.

Smith was one of the NFL's best deep passers in 2017. Look it up. Whether that was a change in philosophy, fluke, or genuine improvement remains to be seen.

Well he was undrafted. We essentially pay him 2 million. The saints either match or he is gone. No compensation for picks.

I believe he is on his way out regardless

You don't think the Saints would match a 2 million dollar deal? That seems on the light side.

He had injury concerns but I think Washington is betting on him being a Doug Baldwin / Steve Smith / Desean Jackson type player. Was kinda hard for Richardson to break through with one of those guys on his roster. But I like him and was hoping we'd take a shot. Too rich for us I guess.

In most instances yes. But with their group of guys, possibly Graham coming back and the lack of touches he got last year, it’s possible

Little leery of getting another Baylor route runner in here, especially since he's done nothing in the league but get injured.

Yeah I was banking on that......not gonna be the case if Richardson is getting that. I wonder what's the market gonna be like for Moncreif.

Same here. Based on numbers like these, I'd bet the Ravens will give Moncrief $6-$7 million a year. They're desperate at this point.

I like his game....I just don't like the injury history and how he was capable of making big plays but not making the reliable play. May be it was because he was in that Seahawks offense...but based on what he's shown? I can't pay that. Same goes for Sammy Watkins. They both have potential to be worth those contracts....but I can't go into free agency paying based on potential. Not unless its a one year or 2 year deal.

Smh......jesus....its looking more and more like if we are going to get better at receiver its going to have to be through the draft and i'm not excited about that.
