Pulling a facemask in 2 different directions is not incidental contact, especially when it restricts the receiver trying to make a play on the ball like it did. And Agholor looked to the Side Judge on the sidelines in the clip. The fact he didn't make a big display doesn't erase the big missed call. Like I said earlier, D-Nile is alive and well. Even with video.

You can argue "undisciplined", bad coaching, etc and that's true for every blatant off-sides penalty.... However, there were tons of holding penalties, pass interference calls which are usually subjective. Penalties that completely ruin drives, ruin games. Connor Williams had 17 penalties in 2021. I'll bet money now that he's not on the Cowboys, his penalties become a non-factor.

Is this a full blown conspiracy out against the Cowboys?? Not quite, as refs want to keep their jobs and surely aren't conspiring a planned attempt to keep the Cowboys franchise down. However, individually speaking.... I'd bet money that if you polled every NFL official on what team they hate the most.... DING DING DING!

Cowboys have had more penalties than their opponent in almost every playoff game in the last decade. I looked at all of them.

One of the few games the Cowboys had fewer was the 2014 playoff game against the Packers. lol the infamous game where...... Ruling on the field is a CATCH!! RULING ON THE FIELD! Indisputable evidence says it's not a catch!! (New York Review Offices)
Years later they say they were wrong, shortly after same play happened in the Eagles super bowl win, which they some how said it WAS A CATCH! Therefore, they admitted being wrong on the Dez play. Wait wait wait wait........ So Refs were wrong on the Dez catch and admitted it, yet the Ruling on the Field said it was a catch and the review team, not even the refs, say it was not a catch!

Rant over but at least understand when you're watching the Cowboys continue to struggle in 2022, we're not just playing against another team! We're also playing against the "Zebras"!

Last years penalties:

• Connor Williams - 14 penalties
• La'el Collins - 10 penalties
• Tyler Biadsaz - 9 penalties
• Terence Steele - 8 penalties
• Tyron Smith - 7 penalties
• Zac Martin - 2 penalties

I don't think it's on the refs, it's on us to do better. Sure, there are a few ridiculous ones (and the Bryce Butler one in the playoff comes to mind) but stuff happens, we can only control what we can control. We had too many guys blatantly hold last season, and too many guys false start....this needs to be cleaned up.

There is a strong bias against the Cowboys. I don't think there is a conspiracy. But a lot of people love to hate this team. Therefore, Im sure those refs will call anything they can against the Cowboys so that they don't win. I don't even know if the refs are in on some scam where they actually bet against the Boys because NFL refs do not get scrutinized as much as NBA refs.

How about the stat that 5 of our starting O-Line (Tyron, Biadasz, Collins, Williams and Steele) all featured in the top 30 O-Linemen to be be penalised in the whole NFL......whilst Zack Martin wasnt. Seems to some sort of correlation involving ability. .

Another interesting point is that Tyron only conceded 3 penalties prior to injury and 6 after his comeback ....playing injured and having to rely on penalties rather than getting beaten ???

When defences have our O-Line's number (and players arent good enough to adapt) then the only option is resorting to the illegal.

Had it not been for poor officiating we'd have blown them out. I remember being furious that game. It was crap call after crap call.

I don't think it's on the refs, it's on us to do better. The Butler one was a legit penalty too. The refs just announced it wrong. Butler moved onto the field to sub and then came right back out. By the rule, it was an illegal substitution. The ref called it 12 men in the huddle but that is a dead ball foul and would have been called immediately before the play happened if that were the case. Illegal substitution is an "at the snap" penalty which means if Garrett and crew actually realized what they did, they could have called a timeout to get out of it to reset but they were clueless. In the clip below at the very end, you can see the ref motion to the Side Judge about the substitution I'm guessing. The Cowboys coaches apparently didn't see that either to call the TO to get out of it but they kept going and got called for it. Undisciplined team as you've said. But conspiracy is easy to say and you never have to think or prove anything so that's why we see it everywhere. The slanted path of least effort (i.e., not reading). Most of the people who whine about some of these calls don't even know the rules they're railing against (see the Dez no-catch) and are on victim autopilot. Whatever helps them to swallow a loss I guess.

Every team gets some bad calls. The Cowboys were absolutely robbed in the Raiders game. That last penalty on Anthony Brown was an absolute joke and it literally gave the game to the Raiders. But we have seen that kind of stuff against other teams too.

I have a theory about Connor Williams. I think someone, a head coach of another team, went to the refs and told them to watch 52, he holds all the time. I have heard that coaches will do that and sometimes refs will listen. If Bill Belichick, for example, tells a ref 52 holds, I think based on his reputation the refs will be swayed a little. And that is exactly what I think happened. Once he starts getting called for holding he develops a reputation and then all the refs are picking on him.

I am not excusing Williams. Most of the holding calls he got, he deserved. But some where not worse than what every other offensive lineman in the leagues gets away with.

At the same time Williams was not very stout against the better DTs in the league so it is easy to understand why he held a lot.

Every ref crew knows the penalties situation of every player and team going into every game. Where do you think their attention is drawn?

Cops pay more attention to habitual criminals and so do coaching staffs when they watch film. Think every DC and DLC playing this team didn’t know of Williams propensity to hold?

Just like they know Tyler Smith’s rep at Tulsa.

Connor Williams was called for 14 of the 53 penalties this unit totaled. Gregory had game losing penalties. La’el Collins was the Cowboys second-most penalized player, followed by Diggs & Tyler Biadasz. With La'el, Williams & Gregory gone, the penalties already decreased.

That was literally my point in posting those plays to counter the "we alwayz getz robbed" lazy analysis. It happens both for us and against us and to every team.

Yep, and that's why I point out the discrepancy in Tyron's penalty total pre and post injury.....or as some in this thread as insinuating "did the ref's wait until after the injury to start flagging Tyron".

An O-line is like a breached dam, once the cracks appear defenses are going to overwhelm the weakness.

Can you explain the Raiders game? Can you explain why Romo was only given 2, at most 3 roughing calls in his entire career? Can you explain why Green Bay's line wasn't called for one holding penalty in our last playoff game with them?

No, you can't. You'd rather sit up here and act like a tough guy who doesn't whine and complain. Good for you. Most people see right through it. And by the way, noticing things isn't complaining. Questioning things isn't complaining.
